An Interesting Story

Not long ago, we ran a Google PPC campaign using "Wal-Mart" as a keyword. The cost per click was ridiculously low and we were pretty excited. Google put our credit repair ads up immediately and we got an astounding 1000 clicks in just two hours (attention Wal-Mart shoppers!) at which point Google stopped the ads. It seems that only Wal-Mart can use "Wal-Mart" as a keyword. Oh, well!

Google stopped our ad but proved that potential credit repair customers are everywhere. People searched for Wal-Mart, spotted our credit repair ad, and immediately clicked through. What kind of content do you offer? It may be a great match for our ads, think about it… Oh, by the way, we made a record number of sales that day!

The answer is yes! If you have a legitimate opt-in list, or an address book of potentially interested customers, we happily encourage email marketing. The last text link on our SaS page is ideal for email. No spam please, of course.

Hi Everyone,

I have received a few more requests for info on email campaigns, and I thought I'd share this thought...

A couple of webmaster affiliates that have accumulated email addresses through newletter subscriptions and information request forms have had awesome success by sending "personal notes" out to everyone in their address book...

I have seen one of these emails. It was very friendly and included personal recommendations of three different affiliate programs including ours. This is an amazing way to encourage conversions. There is nothing like a persuasive note.

The tech process is easy. Lot's of the ABestWeb members are tech pros, but I see that quite a few of our new affiliates are small business people that have spotted the opportunity to make some extra money while directing their traffic to a few sites that they like.

Once you sign up for our affilliate program go to the text link section and copy the last (really short) text link on the list. When you are setting up your email ,highlight the text that you wish to link to us, click the "insert hyperlink" button, and use the text link for your target address.

Then when your email recipient clicks through and signs up for our credit repair program, you get paid!
