I'm a "newbie" to ABW and delighted to introduce myself and my company. I'm Barbara Thornton ( http://www.designershoes.com/designer/dept.asp?s_id=0&dept_id=117&mscssid=MPTSNAN1AM9C9PSBPAFHH6DMSU3QE0BB)
and I founded this ecommerce shoe company for women who have a hard time finding their size in regular shoe stores: DesignerShoes.com (http://www.designershoes.com/designer/), fashion shoes for women who leave a larger footprint.

DesignerShoes.com, a merchant company, invites affiliates to work with us. We have:


a large collection of text and banner ads,
a monthly affiliate newsletter,
coupons for affiliates and
a 2200 item data feed representing over
50 brands.
Our average sale is about $130 but a sale can range over $1000.
Our commission is 10%.


We're a niche women's shoe site that targets only (!!) the 37% of all women who can't find their sizes in regular shoe departments. We carry over 55 sizes and widths. We ship all over the world so we particularly welcome international affiliates.

Quick suggestion: Edit the title and include your company ie "DesignerShoes.com - CJ" or "Introducing DesignerShoes.com" or some such.

Not sure if you are going to be able to edit it so you may have to ask a mod to do that for you.

Welcome to ABW, I just joined your program it may just fit in with one of my sites. I it possible to get some new Banners 125x125 would be a good fit that highlights "Wide Size" the 120x90 banners you have their have very small print. I want visitors to know you sell wide size (plus size) shoes.

Great IDEA! I'll try to get something into my CJ banners collection this week. It's our mission to seek out hard to find size... wide size shoes. And I really believe we have the best collection in the world for whatever kind of shoes you want... not just old "granny" shoes, but prom shoes, peep toe wedges in great colors... etc. Thanks for asking!

Thanks! I followed the instructions which say to put CJ first. I don't know what a mod is. I'm guessing moderator? How do I find one to ask about this?

What's a parasite?

Search here at ABW... but, short answer:

If someone goes to my site, I pre-sell for you, they click thru to your site to place an order... at the shopping cart a parasite pops up and overwrites my cookie with theirs, and they get the commission

or...

someone types in designershoes at google, goes staright to your site, and again, at the shopping cart, a parasite pops up and you have to pay a commission to an affiliate who didn't do anything to get you the buyer.

GOOD GRIEF! I've got all kinds of spyware but I have no idea how to know if that is happening (no one has mentioned it to us) or how to stop it. I'll do an ABW search on the term.
