Can someone give me the sweetened, condensed version of what FOREX is all about?

I see it everywhere, but don't really know what it is.

I could Wikipedia it I suppose, but I'm here now.

It's overseas and US currency trading, yes?

Foreign currency trading ... basically buying currencies when you think they will have a higher rate next week when you can sell them again.

Gotcha.

So traffic I send can play with this account, and pretend that they're actually trading money, so that they can get their feet wet, and then get sold into using this system for trading actual money.

Yes?

FXNick, is there a part of your program which pays a commission on signup, and/or the residual based on what they actually pay into or earn from the market?

I'm all about residuals.

Thanks!
Jonathan

We have 2 different programs.
You may promote dukascopy.com and earn $15 per every FREE DEMO account (per FREE signup). This program allows our affiliates to earn flat $15 per Free Demo account registered by a referred member at dukascopy.com. It is an absolutely revolutionary program – there is no other Forex affiliate program in the industry which offers flat fee per demo account with no requirement for adding funds to the account.
Or you may promote FXrevenue.com. This program allows you to receive a percentage of the total commission revenue generated by all of your referred affiliates during the specific period. We pay 20% of all the revenues generated by your referred affiliates. It is most profitable 2nd Tier program in the industry!

Yes, I see that you have a 2-tier program. That's great!

This means that if I refer you 1 affiliate who gets 4 customers to sign up for a free trial, then the affiliate I referred will earn $60 ($15*4), and I will earn $12. (.20 * 60)

I think I'm understanding your reply correctly, but not sure if you got my question...

I was wondering about earning residuals based on the pay in/or earnings of the customers I refer to you... not the referrals of 2nd tier affiliates.

Do you offer a program where I earn lifetime or ongoing commissions based on what the customers I'm referring you are doing once they become your customers?

Thanks!

Jonathan

Nope. At this moment we offer only flat $15 per Free Demo account and 20% Webmaster Referral (2nd Tier).

You know, the promises of big payouts should not be of the main focus, the value of checks issued should be of a bigger concern instead :-). Flat $15 per FREE DEMO account is much better than possibility (!) to earn high commissions in long term period. Only hard cold cash into your pocket. It is our mission.

It's not the "possibility" of earning a big check today that gets me interested in promoting a program. There's plenty of programs I could play with and figure out how to get a big check today.

What I'm most interested in is passive, residual income, that I do something once for and get paid on again and again.

I would imagine many people in the affiliate marketing space are the same way, although I could be wrong.

Lifetime earnings based on what customers purchase down the line... smacks of MLM and pyramid schemes to me.

Certainly it’s a big advantage to bring a customer once and then have a lifetime income from his spendings, but usually the companies which offer revshare programs either have products which are not-so-popular and hard to sell – that’s why they aim to attract webmasters by promising big revshare percents; or the product is good and can be easily sold, but in this case the offered percent will be small. Also, the attention should be focused on product retention. Perhaps, lifetime revshare percent is a great option, but one should always bear in mind how much money it is.
The main advantage of our program is that we pay flat $15 upon a DEMO account registration, which means that we don’t request customers to purchase anything. Customers register to get acquainted with the system and we already pay $15 for that.

I think the $15 is a good commission on a free trial... no question. Was just letting you know where I was coming from.

Thanks!

Hi!
You have a very attractive program! $15 per free demo looks very competitive. I think that you will converting like hell on the specific resources.

But what is about luxury traffic? Also I want to know, how do you pay to your affiliates? What methods available? And how often?

Thanks

Undoubtedly, luxury traffic converts perfectly with our program, because dukascopy customers are wealthy people. According to the latest statistics, we can state that our program is extremely effective for PPC, for instance, on google adwords.
Currently our affiliates are paid twice a month – on the 1st for the pay period 1st-15th of the previous month, and on the 15th for the pay period 16th-30th of the previous month. We send payments in a form of wire transfers, checks, epassporte, or provide a special ATM card which allows withdrawing money anywhere in the world.

Yes, I am FXrevenue admin. You can contact me by e-mail nick@fxrevenue.com, icq 476065588, or aim FXrevenue. By the way, there is also site’s support information available at http://www.fxrevenue.com/contacts.php. You said "extremely effective for PPC, for instance, on google adwords."

Can you share some info to back that up with me privately?

Thx

Hi all,

I went to dukascopy.com as well as fxrevenue.com and fxrevenue is just an affiliate of dukascopy. There's nothing on dukascopy's website that would indicate that they would pay $15 per DEMO signup.

Any comments on that, FXNick?

If you browsed our site, you must have noticed that our site fxrevenue.com is an IB partner with dukascopy. However, dukascopy does not refer to us directly, since we are not a direct sub-unit of dukascopy. Nevertheless, our tracking algorithms are tightly integrated with them, which can be seen from our link codes as well as from the dukascopy sign up page which refers to us. Dukascopy offers an IB program available to everyone, however it is focused on affiliates interest from customer’s transaction turnover, while we pay $15 per FREE demo account, which is much more attractive for the majority of affiliates, thus our program is aimed at a wider spectrum of webmasters.
