Hi Doveman - You might want to put a link to the program affiliate SAS sign up page and also one to the Farm & Home Supply Center website. Makes it easier for affiliates to check out the program.
Will your products be available via PopShops? That way we can add relevant categories to existing sites, give them a running start.
Our Datafeed is being uploaded to PopShops as I write this.

Welcome to ABW and congrats on announcing your new program. You have an interesting array of products that can/should appeal to the homeowner (at least form my point of view). :)
But (always a "BUT," right?)...Uh-oh...I see major leaks here...
Are you selling advertisements on your siteAdvertising with text adds on Farm & Home Supply Center's "Catalog of Sites" is easy and affordable. There are two way to advertise with Farm & Home Supply Center. Either with text adds or graphical adds.along with trying to attract affiliates? It also appears that you are actively trying to attract reciprocal links - which amount to "leaks" for us A/M types. :(
I don't think I want to send any of my real estate readers to a site where they may click away to an "advertiser" or to another site on a "link-farm" page. Also, your intro states that you will be tracking phone orders. How will you be doing this?
Those issues need to be addressed before many serious affiliates will consider your program.

Thanks for the feedback. Where did you find that text add advertisment? We don't sell add space! Never have, never will. We only sell products.
As far as the link pages go I would have no problem removing them from the front and bearring them in some deep hole. They don't do any good anyway.
Concerning phone tracking we have implemented code from SAS that gives us the Affiliates ID which is displayed inconspicously under our logo on every page. (Most of the pages are done. The rest will be completed by Thursday.) Our phone people have been instructed to ask for that code whenever anyone calls in an order. We will then post the order to SAS.
If there is any other suggestions please let me know. I am still new at this but my goal is to make this site as affiliate friendly as I possibly can. That way we both will win.
Thanks Again.

I found that "advertising blurb" by clicking around in your links directory. It's actually a full page promoting both text and graphical ads and giving rates and terms. Definitely needs to go. Here's the page - I wasn't sure exactly where it was but it came right up in a G-search: farm-home dot com/cgi-bin/miva?/mn/t7_advert.pl (broken up a bit so it won't "link" anywhere).
As far as the link pages go I would have no problem removing them from the front and bearring them in some deep hole. They don't do any good anyway. They never do any good - except for the folks '"selling" the service. It would be a good idea to bury them deeply.
Good answer about the phone tracking. You are on the road to being "affiliate friendly" and that is good - for both you and your affiliates. :)

Thank you. The page turned out to be a test that was done years ago but never implemented. Some how the SE's found it. (That will teach me not to leave old code on the site!) It is now gone along with the links page.
I am very grateful that you took the time to critique my site.
