Just a FYI I am working on product links, a possible data feed and other goodies. I realize there may be issues pointed out to me that may need my attention. I want everyone to know that I am all ears. I myself as most of you know have been an affiliate since around 1998. I know the issues, what works and doesn't work and most of all know that you are the experts.
P.S. Thanks Ron,:)
Thanks again

Heyder - Just a FYI I am working on product links, a possible data feed and other goodies.
I tried to make my own links and it doesn't work. It has to do with &auction_id= it seems SaS don't pass this parameter with your URL and the link don't redirect to the right page.

Hello Zeus,
Which method did you use to make the link?
I went to "Create a Custom Link to a Page" entered in the url of my product and all works fine for the particular item I choose. I wonder if it was some kind of a site glitch on my side or if it was a shareasale glitch.
I didn't try linking to a category page either so that might not work but I really don't know.

Hey, this is great. I just applied. I've got some ideas in mind for blog posts and for a couple of collectibles sites I have. Eager to do something with this!

I'll get to work right away. Any ideas what it should say or look like? I could Link it to a category etc.

I agree on the creatives, both smaller and varied sizes as well as a bit sharper text.
Can you do any 175px or 200px wide by 250-300px deep for blog sidebars? And perhaps some 125x125 "buttons" for blogs, too?
Thanks.

Just a quick question on the auction listings themselves --- Will you eventually have no-reserve listings too?

There will be many no reserve auctions. Right now we thought the dollar bidding would get some interest going. Nearly a thousand new items will be posted in the next week and many will not have reserves.
Thank You

an 88x31: white background, 1 pixel red border
blinks in red, "AUCTION" then "TODAY", then short pause
would be good, to start. for antiques category (general: can include coins, etc)

I sure can and will. Just a little short handed so please bear with me. Had to google to see if it was bear with me or bare with me. Seems bare with me could get ugly lol.
Anyways I'll be making all kinds of creatives today and tomorrow. If anyone has a request for something in particular please let me know.
Thanks Again

Hi Mike! Nice to "meet" you. I'm potentially interested, but I have some questions after having taken a quick look around. When I click "about us" and "FAQ's", both pages seem to be blank?
OK, here goes:
Where does the merchandise on the site come from? Is it all owned and fulfilled by your company? It seems (from the "help" section) that there will be other third parties selling on the site in the future; is this a correct assumption? If there are third parties selling on the site, what kind of measures are in place to make sure that bidders would be reasonably protected against fraudulent sellers? (And, conversely, are there protections in place to protect sellers against fraudulent buyers?)
Thanks!

Hello Amy,
All of the merchandise is either owned by us or listed by us with an exclusive contract. All of the merchandise is inspected by us in person, and held in our posession with the exception of one item about to come up soon that will make world wide news. I will tell more later after some verification has taken place. Hint: (Numismatics Be Ready!)
The poorly managed help, faq and about us sections haven't been touched as of yet and will be taken care of very very soon. My horse got ahead of the cart.
I hope this helps for now and will be getting back to work asap.

Thanks for the response Mike; sounds good. Quite a few of my sites deal with antiques, art and collectibles, so I will keep an eye on your offerings.
Best of luck to you!

Just an update on the question about reserve auction.
Quite a few auctions are being posted without reserve. We are also adding a lot of buy it now auctions for immediate sales.
In the very near future we will also be hosting live auctions. These auctions will require the buyer to be on the website durring the auction. Does anyone know of a way to work this out for affiliates? The buyer's can register ahead of time but will need to join the live broadcast at the particular time.
We have too much inventory in our warehouse and need to get it moving soon. We are thinking of incentives for buyers, affiliates etc. I sure could use some ideas and advice. We have a number of big screen HDTV's we may consider for a give-away but we need results to do that.
Thank You
