I want to say a big thank you for the votes. It makes me feel appreciated. I also want to say that I'm sorry to everyone for not participating much (and for falling behind on my projects) since I've gotten back from the Summit. I'm still recovering from that personal issue I discussed in the Inner Circle.

Thank you to everyone who voted for me. I shared the ballot with such wonderful company.

I was going to save my thoughts for when Haiko declared the voting official, but since I am a little unfamiliar with the whole process and people are congratulating me, I thought I should reply.

Last night when I saw the voting had closed I was in awe. Actually, I still am a little. To be in a community that adds thousands of members per year and to be voted best new member---unbelievable.

You should have seen me last night telling my wife what had happened. It was as if I had won an Academy award. I am not sure if this comes with an actual physical award or not, but if it does I told my wife that it was going on the mantle in the living room. It really is that special and important to me. I appreciate everyone here from Haiko to the mods to the OPMs/AMs, network reps, merchants, and affiliate members. It is truly an honor to be nominated amongst my peers in this manner. Thanks again to everyone who makes ABW special.

Last year Matt McWilliams and I shared the honor for 2006, and so I truly understand and appreciate how you feel. Your interaction and contributions here during 2007 justified both your nomination and the votes that put you over the top. Congratulations to you young man, and congratulations to all of the new members in 2007 who shared the nomination with you. ABW is a better place for having you all!!
