I booked a one night hotel stay for a friend on 3/20 for the night of 3/26. The original booking tracked on 3/21 with no commission. The completed stay tracked on 3/26 with the correct commission.
I just happened upon this rate as a fluke because the hotel has a Best Rate Guarantee and their rate is never lower on the travel agency websites unless there is a mistake as there was this time. Someone mistakenly loaded their weekend rate for a weeknight at this hotel which stays very busy on weeknights and has very low occupancy on weekends. Their weekend rate is less than half their weeknight rate.
