I had a conversation with Linkshare about Office Depot not tracking a few thousand dollars in sales that were made. Mind you these were real sales made from the girl that orders office supplies from my day job through my link so I know they were true. Linkshare said that it was up to each merchant to give them the amount and that Linkshare had no control over who said a sale was made or not. A system like that is bad from the start. I'ts like saying pay a speeding ticket if you go over 60, no cops, it is on an honor system. Yea right like that is going to happen.

1) it might be better to start a new thread.
2) Follow up with OD. Usually, most merchants will honor it if something went amok.
3) check in the TEST purchase sub-forum. If there is a problem about OD, people should have posted.

I've split the discussion out.
