I know that's been the burning question on your mind for some time now. "Just what are those Hocks costumers seeking when they come into the store. I must know now!!" you say, well wait no longer!

I've compiled a list of the top 91 search phrases from 2007. Yes, 91 - I know, not a nice round 100. But I took out all the company name searches such as Hocks, Hocks Pharmacy, etc etc so that what's left is a nice lean mean product listing.

If this proves to be an asset to your marketing efforts I'd be happy to compile this list for you guys every month with the top searches from the previous month. What do you think?

Lots of diabetic keywords...is that a seasonal thing, or a year-round thing? Just something I noticed that I figured I'd toss out there :)

Carolyn, Unfortunately it's become a major year-round thing. But that is a discussion for a different thread.

Sarah, Thanks for the extra effort on putting this together. It's an interesting insight into what is happening in that market. Are these searches that eventually turned into conversions or just general click throughs? I did see one product I didn't think could be sold without a prescription... but perhaps something has changed since I dealt with it.

Ah - Very astute Carolyn, good observation!

Yes, the diabetic products are typically heavily sought out throughout the year since it is a disease that, for many, requires regular monitoring and medical supplies to keep in check. Thus, Hocks sells high volumes of diabetic supplies all year round.

Another good point knight01!

These are the top search terms entered in the search engines that generated clicks through to Hocks' website AND every one of them converted as well! :)

If you want to PM me the product you're referring to, I'd be happy to check the prescription status of it for you.

I've received the official word from Hocks.

There are currently no products listed on the Hocks website that require a prescription.

Thanks again for raising a great question knight01!
