A hosting company that I represent is currently devloping and deploying their own in-house, 3-Tier, affiliate program. They are therefore seeking the services of a motivated affiliate manager to handle the marketing and recruiting of affiliates.

The individual in question must be motivated and available to start work online immediately.

They must:
* Have experience in the affiliate field, either as a successful affiliate/internet marketer or as an affiliate program manager

* Have impecable client services skills and a friendly demeanor

* Exceptional English and communications skills

Primarily, you will be responsbile for promoting the affiliate program and recruiting affiliates to the opportunity. You will also be responsbile for managing any affiliate conflict/TOS abuses. The continuing support and assistance of affiliates will be expected through motivational message, emails an the adding of sales content to the site.

You would initially be expected to handle the listing of the program in various affiliate directories as well as stimulating various recruitment efforts.

Compensation will be negotiated and dependent upon the applicants skill level and experience. A typical compensation package may include a commission based upon ALL sales volume derived in the affiliate program. Obviously, this quantum would depend on the applicants motivation but could be fairly substantial.

For interested applicants, please forward your resume and a cover letter explaining why you would be a good fit as Affiliate Manager to:

Thanks Again.

Hi neighbor lol =0). I'm up the street from Wilmington.

Quick question, are they willing to do a 1099 and outsource to a firm, or do they want a dedicated AM who only works on this one program? Also, will they allow the AM to not allow parasitic adware, or will they want to partner with them because the networks recommend it?

Last questions, this is not commission based only correct? What is the base pay range? Also, will you be providing artwork or does the AM/OPM need to also be a graphic designer? What network would you like to put this program on?

Thanks,

Adam

If you're planning to get someone to manage your affiliate program, why make it and then get someone to manage it. Why not find your person and let them have a hand in creating the program? Unless you have experience managing affiliate programs, it's a mistake IMO to create one and then get someone to deal with what you made.

As an independent affiliate manager I hear this all the time "We just launched our affiliate program and now want someone to manage it". Typically, this involves going through and changing/fixing much of their new program.

Just my 2 cents, good luck with this.

This is perhaps one of my favorite posts of yours Greg. Exactly on the money. Great recommendation to these folks - I hope they see the wisdom of it, especially if they are hoping to attract a solid AM.

I have to second that. If it's being built then let a professional build it. Was just speaking to the CEO of APA with whom I'm tied up with and six more programs to build from scratch plus four of my own (mine are existing) and I tell you, it's a heck of a lot easier starting with a blank canvas!

I am going to third that. You really should look into an Outsourced Program Manager, there are SEVERAL good ones here, take a look around and contact them. I am not an option for your company, as I am with a hosting company all ready, but an OPM would be a much better choice for you.

Make that 4 folks with that advice. We see this all the time as well at GTO. Please find experienced help and set up the program with them and their guidance.

It's so much easier to get affiliate buy in if you do things right the first time.

Good luck,
