We've been working on this for a couple of weeks already and are about to do a large mailing (unfortunately) to a number of sites that have scraped exclusive coupon codes. We are going as far as expiring existing codes and reissuing them with ties to specific AIDs so that they will not work with other AIDs, the coupon will show as invalid. Which should alert visitors to the offending site to go complain to the sites that have the coupons posted.
That said, I want to point out that coupons are not that big of a trigger for sales at Viator. There is a constantly updated specials page that converts very well for the sites that link to it and promote it. So my recommendation for Coupon and Deals sites instead of asking for a code that can get ripped off, is to link to our specials and highlight them on your sites.
In this economy savings are what people are after, and they don't care if it is a coupon or not, they just want better value for their money. So at the end of the day, promoting a coupon may not be in your best interests, showing your site visitors that they can save money on specific tours may be a better way to go for you and for them.
