I know that MANY of you aware of my stand on trade mark poachers, but I am going to reitereate it one more time:

I clearly define our PPC bidding rules in our TOA - There is to be NO bidding on
Great AuPair
GreatAuPair.com
or any misspellings or variations of

I do NOT give warnings, when you join this program, you are asked to agree to the TOA, when you do this, you are agreeing to follow the PPC rules.

As of right now - the Great AuPair affiliate program has an almost 100% reversal rate, because one affiliate thought they would test me on this.

When I catch a trade mark poacher my steps are very clear:
1. I reverse all your commissions
2. I set you to 0% for 72 hours,
if I hear from you within the 72 hours, an am able to confirm that you have removed ALL violating terms from your PPC campaigns, I will reset your commission rate.
3. I leave negative Feedback

I do not take Trade Mark bidding lightly, it is stealing. Stealing from Great AuPair directly and stealing from other affiliates.

If I have left any room for confusion on this, do not hesitate to contact me to ask me any questions.

I am really a nice woman, who enjoys helping my affiliates be successful, but if I have to be mean, I will be. I do not like my programs showing such a reversal rate.

Hi Rolet!
Love your stand, it is one that I follow as well.
Quick questions for you: After the 72 hours at 0% and the affiliate complies, do you allow the earned commission, or do they lose it. Also, how often do you police the program (meaning, do you check daily for BTB and deactivate the same day?)
thanks!

Even if an affiliate complies after the removal of commission and setting them 0% - I do NOT return their earned commissions on fraudulent means for sales. Now mind you, I also do not reverse any commissions that have been earned for ethical sales. In this particular instance, the affiliate who broke my rules responded via email quickly, explained what had happened, and I am working out crediting him back some of his sales as a few were from legitimate means. When an affiliate responds and takes care of the issue, I know it was a mistake/over sight, and I will work with them to resolve the issue.

As for policing - sadly I do it way too much, some weeks it is daily, other weeks it is only once. I get bummed when I am policing, because it seems such a waste of my time when I would rather be working on ways to help other affiliates generate more revenue.
