Congrats on the nice forum, Jason!

Question to followup on a thread elsewhere at ABW:

Were you ever able to find out what happened to the "NFL," "NBA, "College," NHL," "More," etc., all the major categories in the SASdatafeed? I don't think they made it into that updated datafeed at SAS.

I note also that those top-level categories are available for the CJ datafeed in PopShops, but not in the SAS PopShops datafeed.

Ah, yeah, here are the PopShops CJ datafeed categories I'm talking about:

COLLEGE
MLB
NASCAR
NBA
NFL
NHL
WorldBaseballClassic
WorldCup

Would be very useful if you could work something out like that with the SAS datafeed and the SAS datafeed in PopShops.

I am correcting the problem now.... portions of the feed thru SaS needed to be re-done and some of the fields needed to be switched around for SaS to capture the info correctly.

PopShops picks up their info from SaS, so as soon as its updated in SaS you should see the update in PopShops no later than 24hours...

I will be sure and notify everyone as soon as this is completed.

SaS is now picking up the feed daily, so you will have the most up to date items and pricing!

you will now be able to search by:

League: NFL, NHL, NCAA, NBA, MLB and Nascar

Team: Jacksonville Jags.. etc.. etc

Keywords: gameday and tailgate, collectibles, mens ...etc...etc

The new feed will be picked up by SAS by the end of the week!

I am working on completing the Image/Banner database... currently finishing NCAA (we carry over 350 teams) almost done!

Nascar will be completed in the near future, but in the mean time if you want me to make something custom... shoot me an email with the size(s) and i'll get it done in less than a day.

Hi Jason. Do you need to check with the SAS folks about this datafeed update? Today is July 21, and that datafeed with the Leagues, Teams, etc., still isn't on the SAS FTP site. Last one there is the 7/7/08 feed before the one you've mentioned here.

contacted SAS.... for some reason the general email didn't pick up my feed...

spoke to Ashleigh... forwarded it directly to her.. SHE GOT IT!!! and it is going into the queue today....

I just ran the import, brought in 57K products (up from 47K in the prior feed). While searching ("favre jersey") to verify your feed, I noticed that another merchant's pricing is sadly outdated (and now deleted from my site).

Awsome Job with the feed! The new banners are great as well. This is exactly how a DF should be, data broken down so it is easy to use. Nice Neat and clean. Now I need to update some sites!

I agree this is a awesome data feed, very clean and well organized.

I downloaded it and added to my feeds table, it's a huge feed with 57k records,
now I'm doing some mapping and the feeds should be online in 24 to 48 hours, can't wait
to see it online!

On the otherhand, the Football Fanatics CJ datafeed in PopShops has the proper categories, as it did before, but has only 49,000+ products.

Any way to find out why PopShops didn't pick up the SAS categories??
