Pursuant to today's conference call (http://forum.abestweb.com/showthread.php?t=107581) we've opened up this new forum within ABW to facilitate the Affiliate Voice. Easy access to this sub-forum is via http://www.affiliatevoice.com. I plan on holding more conference calls to help facilitate the affiliate voice being heard, empowered and acted on ... we are not going to be complacent anymore, this is our industry and we will make it the best it can be ... speak up, make your voice heard.

Haiko,
You simply rock.
Now that we have #1 down, what's next on the list?

Wonderful! Definitely what's needed is for all of us to speak up before it's too late.

Haiko, great call today. I didn't chime in, but I enjoyed listening to everyone's thoughts about the NY stuff. Since we don't deal in retail and it does not affect us, I was totally ignorant. Now I understand fully.
I even had our attorneys start looking at the Washington stuff and other possibilities of it affecting us in the future. Things look good for lead gen and our sales...but you know the government...they will find a way to get their hands on our money too one day unless we fight 'em.

Ohhh it's a going ... we are the fuel, it will not stop.
We need to fix the industry from within, by ourselves before it gets fixed for us.

I am totally behind your efforts and stress the importance of getting something off the ground and moving forward as quickly as possible. As someone who’s more comfortable in the political arena than in the affiliate marketing arena, believe me … time is of the essence.
Personally, I don’t care if Mo, Larry and Curly want to start an Association … I’d join, because at the very least it would provide an identity or calling card to deliver a message as a united voice to legislators on the state or federal level. And, that is extremely important to be recognized and heard by lawmakers.
