It's not good for affiliates when you have - Ads By Google - on the pages.

$1.00 per sign up?? You've got to be kidding.

Why is it not a good idea for ads by google to be on the pages, and what is wrong with $1 per sign up?

There is nothing wrong with ads by google being on your pages. I dont know what is that guy talking about..lol. $1 per sign up is a good amount also..some dating sites pay alot more but i think with $1 you should get some people to join. I'm going to join now.

StuntasticAudi doesn't know what he is talking about, sorry guy or gal.

Ads are bad, because they are considered a leak. Affiliates send traffic to your website, hoping people sign up and then get paid for it. The google ads give the sent traffic something else to click on, that takes the traffic away from your website, which gives you money and the affiliate nothing. So they are spending time and perhaps money to make you money while getting nothing in return.

I actually think 1 dollar per free sign up is fine. Do you have paid membership though? That wasn't exactly clear in your post. Is there is paid membership and what do affiliates get paid for that?

the affiliate program for you! Earn $1.00 per sign up!
I think the affiliate gets paid $1.00 per sign up and you don't get paid until you earn $45.00.

It's not worth the effort to put out a site and keep it up for that commission.

I was thinking of that too. Having to get 45 members to be paid? Don't see many affiliates being interested in that.

Thank You! I think with these higher commissions it will definitely be worth the effort.
