I was thinking to myself, CSN Stores has so many products and stores; it would be fun to have a contest where affiliates picked out the craziest product that we sell. With that known, I am proud to announce the “CSN Stores Craziest Product Search Contest”.
Contest details:
- Post the URL too the product that you had in mind. Please post the product name above the URL.
- Pick the craziest product you can find on any of our sites. We have a LOT.
- In one month (10/18) I will put together a poll where we can all vote on the craziest product that CSN Sells. That poll will last one week.
- The person that wins the vote will be awarded a hundred dollar prize through paypal!
I am really looking forward to what you guys find! There are thousands of products that we sell that I’ve never even seen before.
Here is my personal favorite”crazy” product that we sell.
Cruzin' Cooler 50-300XE/50-500XE/50-1001/50-1002/ 50-1 - Electric Cruzin' Cooler with Optional Accessories
This thing is seriously sweet. If anyone would like to buy this for me, I will not say no!!!
On that note, I will be opening up one of our newer stores, www.tailgatingpartysupply.com, once Mr. Littleton adds it to our merchant interface! The commission for this store will be 7%.

Okay, not a single product, but I find it amusing that you carry 201 toilet accessories. Not 200, not 250, but 201.
It's between that and the "Classic Toe Operated Tub Drain (http://www.csnstores.com/Delta-RP31558-DLT1542.html) "
I wonder how many people actually search for that?

Merry Products - The Chalet Dog House

Brent, this question is sort of related to this thread -- how up to date are your PopShops.com product datafeeds?
I ask because I'm planning to use PopShops for a major site using CSN products, and I could not find a way, using the PopShops search function in my dashboard there, to find the Delta Classic Toe Operated Drain Plug -- which would make a fun item to write a blog review about on one of my blogs. I would use PopShops to display the product in the blog.
I realize you guys have nothing to do with the search function quirks at PopShops, but since I couldn't find that item, I wanted to ask about whether or not it is on PopShops?
BTW -- I sent you a PM related to another matter. Did you get it?

Hey, y'all. Don't go dissin' that toe-tap drain plug.
We had them in both bathtubs in our first place at the beach. They actually worked well. Sometimes these old bones find it easier to tap a foot rather than have to do a toe-touch calisthenics in the shower - just to adjust the drain. :D LOL

@Brent -- Got the email and replied with some questions!
Looking forward to what you can tell me about the PopShops questions above.
@Beachy -- Don't know about the youngsters posting in this thread (LOL!) but being an Old Guy myself, I would never disrespect the Toe Drain Thingy. I might not be able to figure it out -- but I would never disrespect such convenience. LOL!

I just sent the popshops team that question. Hopefully they will get back to me shortly.

?
That item was actually not in our feeds. I just manually added it to our BathroomFurnitureDirect.com feed. It will show when this feed is FTPed to SAS on Thursday. We will just have to wait on Popshops to update their system, and we will be good to go!

That is a great one! Christine, you are going to run away with this contest! Especially since no one else besides Ms. Tang has participated.
More likely than not, we have never sold that product. I have set-up our feeds to only take products that have been sold. I will add this product to our AllModernFurniture.com product feed. It should be in SAS within the next few minutes, and will be available the next time Pop Shops updates their database.
If you look in the office furniture category in Popshops, and go right to page 12. You will find most of our Herman Miller products right there.
Thanks,
Brent

Just gettin to this now so am pretty late. Had skimmed thru it a while back but been really busy so figured it would take waaaaaay too much time to go thru all your products. lol :) uhhh if Anne were here she'd be teasin me.
Yes, I Purplebear (and, also Anne....that Clever one;).....altho I fess up to my weaknesses while she's still in a state of denial.;)) I do hereby fess up to my contestaholism. :worried: :(
I guess it was during one of Malcolm's contests that this pathetic weakness of mine (and also, Anne, Adam and quite a few others I seem to recall at the time) But.....Anne did indeed point to this ummm problem of mine and went public with it for all the world to know.
Sooooo, knowing this weakness of mine, when I saw your original post I bravely tried to stay away and was doin pretty good til now :( So.....it is with my head hung low I shamelessly am here. Tried but just couldn't help myself. It is due to my extreme thoughtfulness tho :) that I am here cos I read this: "Especially since no one else besides Ms. Tang has participated."
Even tho....seeing that...... I realize I have once again fallen off the wagon....it is a much kinder thing for me to sacrifice myself in an effort to try to make you feel better. :) Certainly don't want any hurt feelings cos you're not getting a whole lotta attention to your contest. So....here I am to make you feel better.;)
Really have to try to catch up so couldn't go thru too much but went thru a teeny bit and came up with a couple.
and......this one is just for you Brent;)
Remember quite a while back you told me you and the rest of your gang were doin this :)

So, we meet again purplebear. I figured it was only a matter of time before you popped your adorably fuzzy head into this thread. Good Luck to you, and with those picks you're going to need it. bruhahaha
All we need now is the appearance of MissDonna and the contestaholics will all be present.

Hi Brent - Is this the reason SO many of your products turn up as Not Available in "Edit Shop" after we've made a Shop - even though they turn out to Be available if we click on them to view Details before deleting them from the Shop?
Also, there have been times entire top Brands are removed from a category in PopShops, even though a store is loaded with them, and we end up with search results of 0 items found a short time after making a page with those in the Navbar.
I got scared that you were gradually dropping PopShops because so many of your products aren't available there, even in the categories you had listed a while back as being updated. Wish there comes a solution to this - I've been floundering wanting to make individual pages to some items, and pages with Navbar items to Search, and then not doing it because it might turn out to be an item you take off later even though you have it in a store.
Hope this is making sense to you and not coming out the wrong way. I love CSN stores and PopShops and not getting anywhere ever since I'd been running into these things mentioned above.
P.S. .. and love You too!!! :)

Hi Karibon,
I believe what you are reffering to can be answered here. http://forum.abestweb.com/showthread.php?t=105177&highlight=csn+product
Please let me know if that helped to clarify the issue that we have from time to time with Pop Shops.
Thanks for the question,

Evil Knievel Memorial Welding Helmet:
http://www.csnwelders.com/Hobart-Welders-770449-HBW1031.html
Makes me want to lay down a tig weld and seal up the snake river canyon right up.
When I drink a case or two of beer on the 4th of July and start lighting off my evening bottle rockets, the cops come every year and ask me to stop... (ok, last year i skipped it cuz the homeowners association threatened to sue me)... but anyhow, i'm wondering if this helmet might show those pesky police folk that i'm not only being careful with my flying flame works drunkfest, but am displaying my patriotic colors...
i think they'd go for it myself. evil k was a bad dude, every cop has that "sympathy for the evil" stones tune thang in him...
