Free Quickbeam for Books

Quickbeam is the fastest book search and price comparison plug-in on the Internet, and it’s free! Quickbeam searches Amazon and other online stores around 50 times faster without leaving your site. Book titles appear as you are typing in the author or title. Price comparisons are shown instantly. Visitors get all the information they need without leaving your site. When they click on a title and make a purchase you generate referral revenue.

Check out instant Quickbeam book searches here:

Interesting concept and a very cool search, for sure. I tried several searches for my favorite authors and a couple of my favorite titles. It seems to work very well and very fast.

However, I don't consider giving up 30% of my readers as being a "free" service. ;) That is a "shared click" revenue model and you should list it that way. Sorry, but that's the way I see it.

Hi Bill,

Thanks for your response. Upon further reflection I think you are correct that Quickbeam is more accurately described as a "shared click" revenue model. We need to take a percentage of the clicks in order to offset our development and maintenance costs for the service.

That said, we believe that placing Quickbeam on your site will lead to more click-throughs and more affiliate revenue than traditional affiliate links. The speed and ease of the searches, the price comparison aspects, and the fact that all of this occurs while the visitor remains on your site is, we believe, a valuable distinction to site owners.

I agree, but I also find this part interesting...

For every website that you refer and that installs Quickbeam we will use your affiliate ID for 10% of the links for two years

I don't know how all that tracking would work, but if everything works ok, maybe there is some extra income generated from other sites that were recomended. http://abestweb.com/smilies/IDunno.gif

What is the minimum time required for an active user to reach payout?

You are being paid by Amazon and the other retailers directly so it depends on the policies of the retailers. I think for most it is $25 minimum, monthly payments. I think Amazon starts paying after 60 days or so.
