We are in the process of moving the Viator affiliate program from Commission Junction to Shareasale. Don't worry, we won't kill your CJ links too quickly, but we do want to make the move quick and painless.
As of this afternoon you can apply to the Viator affiliate program at Shareasale:
http://www.shareasale.com/shareasale.cfm?merchantID=18208
and your application will remain pending until next week when the Shareasale tracking goes live during a Viator site build. Once the build is live and tested, we will begin approving affiliates. Be sure to note in the comments box that you are an ABW affiliate. It will also help if you will tell us if you are new or are switching from Commission Junction.
This is the off season for travel affiliates, that is why the transition is now. I apologize in advance to retail affiliates that have no plans to be changing site links in the midst of Black Friday and the holiday retail madness, but we had to do this when the Viator tech team was able to.
I view this move as a very positive one for Viator and all of our affiliates, there are many tools and features planned to help you promote Viator to your site visitors easily and keep information fresh. Popshops, WishAds, Make A Page, Widgets, and a multi-currency datafeed are all being worked on.
Any questions, email me at deborah at viator.com
