Umm, guinness618 am almost afraid to ask lol :) but does this mean that the programs have been closed where they're currently at and have to be removed or is this just in addition to where they're at?

One question bout the in house program. Would there be cross tracking between all the brands in it?

"strict policing"
definitely like that:):)

oh purplebear! I wouldn't do that to you right before the holidays!!!
I am just looking to get some of the quality affiliates that are members of ABW to help boost sales and get the word about my great brands!
I am not sure what you mean about cross tracking...tell me what you are looking for?
And I am all about the policing!!!!!!

Boy, you're fast lol :) Had just popped in here real quick, realized I had a pm, answered it and another post and was headed out again. lol You answered already lol :):)

"oh purplebear! I wouldn't do that to you right before the holidays!!!"
ohhhhhhhhhh thank you, thank you, thank you:):):):):) Between some of my merchants stopping, moving or links needing to be changed, I've thrown in the towel lol :) Was behind before, had some computer problems, so I'm just trying to keep up with who I think may do ok and others are gonna have to wait for gettin put on my site now for a bit. Very, very happy I don't have to change your links:)

Not sure if it goes in the cross tracking definition so maybe I'm explaining it wrong. At the bottom of the page it says to shop our family of brands. I've always thought of them as leaks unless a visitor visits one and I'd still get commission even tho they went to one from one of their family sites instead of directly from my site. (they still wouldn't have gotten there if they hadn't originally clicked from my site, just went to one of the other family members. hmmm may not be explaining myself too well lol :) I've been really burned by leaks in the past so am extra, extra sensitive to em and may make a bigger deal outa them.

Do those in-house programs give us access to datafeeds?

Dyan, I'm very happy to hear you're taking your brands in-house. As you know I haven't worked with your programs because they're on Linkshare. But I'm also concerned about the affiliation of these merchants with OneCause/CauseLoyalty as discussed in this thread http://forum.abestweb.com/showthread.php?t=112872

If you have dissolved the relationship with OneCause in your LS program and you will promise to keep them out of your in-house program then I will be glad to give these excellent brands a try as an affiliate.

you will probably get more affiliate signing up if you address those concerns

I have to apologize....
I checked in-house thinking that it meant that the programs are managed in-house (by me). LinkShare manages the fiscal part of our program, but I do all the approvals, removals, etc. I apologize for my confusion.
As for our relationship with LinkShare, I realize that a lot of affiliates have had problems with them. I haven't found one network that is perfect.
As part of a much larger corporation, I don't have the authority to drop LinkShare.
I do however, have the authority to manage my programs to the strictest letter of our T&Cs. I have been following the ABW threads about onecause.com and the other issues that Haiko (and affiliates) have addressed.
I won't make promises right now, but again, I can assure you that all affiliates are watched for compliance in all of my programs.
Thank you again for your interest in my programs.

I have temporarily removed onecause from my programs until the issue of the tool bar is addressed in a satisfactory manner by the affiliate.

It will have lots of content that affiliates are more than welcome to pickup.
And I am promoting lots of hot products there too.

Would appreciate feedback!

Hi Dyan,

We are running both the Hearthsong and Plow & Hearth programs on our site. We recently had a transaction reversed on both which is not uncommon when a customer either cancels an order or returns product. However, in both cases we have discovered that there was a defective product shipped to the customer that was then exchanged for the same product with no money changing hands or cancelations. We should not have commissions reversed for a product exchange in this case, correct?

I've submitted an order inquiry for the Plow & Hearth order which had a significant commission involved. To date, I've not received a response.

Can you help?

Thanks in advance! I appreciate anything you can do.

Angie

Hi JADA!
I've just received the transaction inquiry yesterday and when I tried to submit a manual credit on the LS interface, it tries to credit the transaction above yours.
I've submitted the problem to LS and as soon as it is resolved, I will issue your credit.
Thanks so much for your support of my brands.

Thank you so much for your response and assistance. I'm assuming you are talking about the transaction with Plow and Hearth. The second transaction is with Hearthsong. If these can be resolved with a standard inquiry, I will open that inquiry in Linkshare today.

Again, thank you for your help. It is a pleasure to work with attentive Affiliate Managers!

Go ahead and submit the inquiry for the Hearthsong transaction. It shouldn't be a problem. Thanks for the thorough explanation for the PH inquiry! It really helped!

Hi Dyan,

I'm just following up on the Plow & Hearth inquiry referenced here. Any word on resolution with Linkshare?

Thanks,
Angie

Hey!
I did the manual credit, but because of the date, it probably didn't show up on the February commission report. I check again to make sure it comes through on the March report.

I'm sorry Dyan--I'm watching the report and still do not see in Linkshare where this credit was posted. I see the original credit and the credit reversal, but the credit correction is not reported. Could I ask you to review the report again? I truly appreciate your help and apologize in advance if I am missing it. Please let me know if you need the order detail again.

Sincerely,
Angie

Hey Angie!
Email me your info again. I have nothing in the file and so I thought it was all resolved.
Send me your LS ID#, order number, and amount of the sale.
