Summary:
The Affiliate Marketing Manager will join <<XYZ company name>> Marketings affiliate team and participate in the management of client affiliate programs.
This individual will work closely with the affiliate team, as well as other teams internally, to ensure a consistent message across all marketing channels.
The individual will be responsible for building and strategically leading the affiliate marketing team.
What does the job entail?
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Planning and executing appropriate Affiliate Marketing campaigns to meet the client needs and budgets.
Managing affiliate relationships, which includes contract negotiations, integration and continued optimization and evaluation of ROI.
Identifying opportunities for strategic partnerships and coordinating these relationships.
Driving communications across all affiliate programs including newsletters, email offers and recruitment campaigns, as well as advertising creatives and copy from conception to completion
Implementing and reporting on creative testing; review and approval of affiliates into client affiliate programs
Researching other affiliate offerings to ensure we remain competitive
Managing and growing client affiliate programs, both internally and network-based.
Detailed reporting on optimization of campaigns and growth objectives including forecasting, testing, tracking, monitoring, analyzing and reporting of results.
Conducting detailed analysis of specific groups of affiliates as necessary.
Developing a schedule of promotions for groups of affiliates and communicating these offers with the affiliate base.
Determining top affiliates to recruit and driving communications and offers to reach them.
Implementing and reviewing creatives as well as testing multiple creative ads in order to identify the most effective ad placement.
Driving new (and updates to current) affiliate landing page tests
Negotiating affiliate placements to achieve sales and cost per acquisition goals
Providing day to day leadership and direction to the affiliate marketing team, while effectively communicating with other internal teams
Other duties as assigned.
Are you a good fit?
The position requires a focused, detail oriented individual that is able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have a direct marketing background and experience working with affiliate networks.
What do you need to do this job?
Minimum of 7 years of direct response marketing experience, preferably in a high growth B2C market
Experience with affiliate networks
Bachelors or Masters degree
Internet industry management experience very helpful.
Previous staff management experience and ability to mobilize a team toward achievement of results.
Strong initiative and willingness to approach work with a sense of urgency
Knowledge of ecommerce and internet-based business models.
Experience evaluating creative messages, analyzing results and optimizing campaigns.
Candidate must have strong analytical skills, be detail oriented and a self-starter.
Proven ability to meet deadlines and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Must be able to manage and organize multiple projects at one time.
