Hi,
Good luck from a fellow MN affiliate. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend due to work related schedule.
Hopefully you guys can kill this thing. In the future, if you need some help with advocacy and reaching out to Representatives and Senators (Rep Steve Simon is a family friend and Senator Marty chief authored a bill my committee submitted last year) let me know.
Last year a committee I'm on, wrote and had our bill passed by the MN House and Senate (Later vetoed by Gov Paulenty). I've met with a number of legislators and senators and know the process of a grass roots advocacy campaign.
Please send an email within ABW if you want to talk further and I'll forward my phone number and private email

Wow only 2 minutes? Thought they would at least give 5 or 10. Good luck tomorrow. I am going to see if I can pick up the session live stream.

You think they can stop me at 2 minutes if I still have something to say? ha

Thanks to Brian for the email broadcast about this earlier today.
I have drafted and sent a message to the Taxes Committee of the Minnesota Senate.
As we all know, this isn't merely another tax issue: At issue is the ongoing viability of the businesses many hard-working men and women across the State of MN have proudly built.
Flamingo: Best wishes to you!
