The Omnibus tax bill walk through (amendments on Wednesday) is scheduled for the Committee on Taxes, on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. Room 15 Capitol. A Senator can still propose an amendment to change or delete any part of the Omnibus bill. I would expect there to be lots of amendments to the bill before it's done. What's the chance of that happening. If it is included in the omnibus bill, what's the next step? I would expect SF 282 to be included in the Senate Omnibus Tax bill since the House version (Which is the same) has already been included in the House Omnibus Tax bill. Amendments and vote on the omnibus tax bill (SF 2074 (http://ros.leg.mn/bin/getbill.php?number=SF2074&session=ls86&session_year=2010&session_number=0&version=latest) ) are scheduled for Wednesday, April 22, 2009, 8:30 a.m. Room 15 Capitol. I haven't seen the full text and research on the bill yet. We have to keep letting our Senators know how bad this part of the bill is. Both bills are being presented today, in the House Taxes Committee, and in the Senate Taxes Committee. Right now they are still finishing up some other business and then the W & M will meet on HF2323 after session.
