Today, I want to let you know how LensWorld fits into the industry and why you should promote us.
It is the goal of LensWorld to offer the lowest unit price on each box of contact lenses. Most online retailers of contact lenses (including other sites owned by drugstore.com) offer good prices, as well as great quantity discounts.
LensWorld however focuses on providing the best unit prices available online, so customers can save big, even when buying only 1 or 2 boxes.
Therefore, LensWorld is a great place to purchase contact lenses, especially during the current tough economic times, when customers do not want to spend a large amount of money to take advantage of volume discounts.

Commission:
LensWorld.com pays you 10% on all shipped sales you referred, both from new and repeat customers.
It is important to know that we only pay on shipped sales. As I had mentioned in my Contact Lens Industry post, we are required by law to verify prescriptions and can therefore not ship all placed orders. You, just like us, will only get paid when an order actually ships.
However, it sometimes happens that a customer places an order, which we can't fulfill because there is no valid prescription. The customer then decides to get a valid prescription and comes back to LensWorld a couple weeks later. If no other affiliate referred this customer when placing the new order, I will credit the affiliate who originally referred the customer with the order, for up to 4 months after the original order was placed.
For example:
Customer A places an order on 2/2/2009. However, we can't ship the order because the prescription is invalid. This order will then be canceled in SAS.
Customer A then comes back directly to LensWorld on 4/4/2009 and places another order. This time, the prescription is valid and we can ship the order.
If no other affiliate referred this customer to place the new order, I will manually credit the affiliate who referred the order on 2/2/2009 with the sale made on 4/4/2009. (I'm basically making sure that the cookie is still valid).
Return Days:
LensWorld.com offers 120 return days. We credit you with any sales that happen within 120 days of you referring a customer to LensWorld.
Spyware / Toolbar free:
I will not tolerate any spyware, toolbars, plug-ins or anything similar to that. I want this affiliate program to be as ethical as possible. Any tricks to steal commission and you're out! Some people might say that this is a tough stance, but I believe that it makes it fair for all ethical affiliates!
Coupons:
LensWorld offers several coupons to increase the average basket size of your orders. They are loaded in the SAS deals database, and will also be send out in our monthly newsletter.
Datafeed available:
A datafeed is available to our affiliates, so you can directly link to the products that customers are searching for.
Activation bonus:
Send 2 orders to LensWorld within the first month of joining our program and I'll credit you a $20 bonus. Simply email me at affiliates@LensWorld.com when you have 2 orders and I'll put the bonus into your SAS account.
