Has anyone heard of addtrax.net? Is this an illegal way to make affiliate sales?

All I can find are a few spammy looking doorway pages on that domain, it looks to be part of some grey hat SEO operation that is keeping its identity hidden.

I can't see anything *illegal*, but this sort of thing can violate merchants and networks terms of service and also lead to an unpleasant time with Google.
