The photo below has been sent to us today by Watermelon Ministries, a non-profit located here in Nashville. A month ago or so we donated over one hundred courses to them so that they could provide them to orphans in Africa along with instruments.
The picture is of a child named James who has a copy of our Learn and Master Guitar along with a new instrument.
It has been so awesome today to see this. While I knew they were donated and probably made it to Africa already, there is just something about seeing it in the hands of a child that makes it so real.
At his age, those can be life-changing tools:)
Absolutely!

All of the credit goes to Paul Williams in our video department who knows a guy there and had an idea and our CEO approved it right away. The birth of the idea was before I even got here...in fact, they announced it at my first staff meeting. What a cool way to start :)

Thank you and thank everyone at Legacy Learning Systems.
It only takes a spark to get a fire started.
It only takes one act of kindness, compassion, mercy and love to start a change that will make our world a better place.
So, thank all of you. When you and others do things of this nature, you don't just touch the lives of those that receive the gift of generosity...
You touch the hearts and minds of all those who see it, hear of it or are a part of it.

It's so true but indeed being treated well can cause me to treat another well and so on. When someone smiles at me, I smile, then someone else sees it and so on...
Not only will the recipient of my good deed often return the favor to someone else, but someone who sees the good deed or hears about the good deed will also keep the chain going.
