I just received an email from Hocks.com, announcing that they will be closing their affiliate program through ShareASale on August 31. Hocks.com has generally been a "class act" (also demonstrated by the full month's notice before terminating, and also by the fact that they didn't use the ShareASale email system to recruit existing affiliates to enroll through another network). Although I've only generated a few transactions for them, I always sought to include their products in my sites where they were relevant.
Until just now, I had not realized that Hocks was also offering affiliate programs through Pepperjam and Affiliatebot. Neither of those is a viable alternative for me -- and now that I realize that Hocks.com is working with PepperJam, I am stripping all their links from my sites right now.

I think they may have just begun with affiliatebot and PJ. I've already emailed Dom and I hope he will reach out to me next week. It's likely too late to do anything to help. I knew I should have followed up with him when SaS stopped program management.

How in the world could a "class act" knowingly choose to go from the penthouse to the outhouse (two outhouses, more precisely) like that?

Indeed a shame. I never had a whole lot of production with Hocks - but they were consistently there for a couple of targeted domains that I have. Definitely used to be a class act. They will be missed.

Well if you're all pulling your links down instead of replacing them, you're welcome to send that surplus traffic to me welcome:

I assumed that this was just for the remaining period until August 31.
