Anybody seen this yet:
http://searchengineland.com/google-sidewiki-allows-anyone-to-comment-about-any-site-26420

I may be a newbie, but won't this allow anyone who had the google bar enabled to make posts on my blog whether I want them to or not?

The comments won't post to your blog (as in to your blog database). Rather the comments will post to the Google's database and will be for your site. G-toolbar users will be able to read it when they visit your site.

So, what's your point. Why don't you like it. Its just another type of social web. Its similar to some reader diggs, tweets, stumbleupons your post.

Let's say some reader diggs or tweets your blog posts and adds his own comment, can you stop him from doing that.

I don't understand what the issue is.

If anything it forces you to make better sites.

I don't like this at all. The concept is good, but until Google can handle spam and offensive comments, I won't be happy with it.
Just look at all the non-quality comments left on youtube videos to see what I mean.
