Steven Wright played to a packed house at Lincoln's Rococo Theater Friday.
Everything he said was absolutely hilarious, some things you had to think about, but his timing allowed you to catch up with him.
"[sings a song, mumbling softly into the mic and barely touches the guitar strings] That was a hard song to write: the pen was barely touching the paper..."
"When my grandpa died, I looked at him in the casket and thought about my flashlight. Then I thought about the batteries in my flashlight. I then said, 'Maybe he's not dead, he's just in there backwards.'"
Consistency is the key to a winning season.
