Business Development Specialist, Internet Commerce
Identifies and helps to develop strategic relationships with vendors, affiliates, and other strategic partners. Works within internet commerce and serves as liaison to affiliates, marketing, merchandising and product development teams to implement business development initiatives. May require a bachelor's degree in business, finance or marketing with 2-4 years of experience. May be expected to have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
1.) Manage the web Affiliate Program Associate: Responsible for day-to-day oversight of Affiliate Program, including affiliate communication and securing new and existing affiliates to increase Shop At Home’s affiliate partnerships. Maintains the affiliate database including analysis of sales results by affiliates, produces affiliate reports and develops new reports as needed, maintains affiliate financial information accruals, and is responsible for affiliate payments.
2.) Manage search engine relationships and expansion
Work with IC director & merchandising to drive new product strategy
3.) Maintain current information regarding Internet/e-commerce industry relations and trends
4.) Other duties that are assigned
5.) Regular Attendance
6.) Ability to get along and work effectively with co-workers, customers, vendors and company visitors.
*HTML skills required, prefer experience in graphic design, marketing, Photoshop, excel and dreamweaver.
