Affiliate Development Manager
Overview
Winferno Software is seeking a highly motivated business development professional to drive new revenues through the identification, acquisition and management of new partners and affiliates. The successful candidate will be a critical member of our growing marketing team, and possess a blend of both marketing aptitude and technical competence.
Responsibilities
• Negotiate and close new affiliate partnerships. Follow up on new partnerships to ensure that they are activated and producing results.
• Work with Affiliate partners to drive customers to Winferno and partner sites.
• Work with Affiliates to grow revenue by developing and managing targeted and mass affiliate acquisition, activation and strategic merchandising initiatives.
• Analyze performance of revenue driving initiatives and translate performance into actionable growth opportunities.
• Create targeted Affiliate prospect lists for key verticals.
• Manage Winferno’s strategies for acquiring more affiliates into the Network.
• Develop, maintain, and extend relationships with affiliates both in and not yet in the Winferno Network. Serve as main point of contact for largest affiliates.
Requirements
• Candidate will have a minimum of 1-5 years’ experience in direct marketing, retailing, and online media functions.
• Bachelors degree required, advanced degrees a plus.
• Proven sales experience with the capacity to identify needs, showcase benefits, overcome objections and close business.
• Exemplary written and oral communication skills, plus strong presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and strategic marketing skills.
• Strong customer relationship building skills are also essential, with an ability to communicate with strategic accounts on a high level.
• Planning and project management skills – setting and meeting aggressive deadlines. Prioritizing and strategizing based on corporate goals.
• Problem solving, thinking creatively and using professional judgment.
• Demonstrated success in measuring results and setting, meeting, and exceeding aggressive quantitative goals.
• Must be able to quickly develop facility with proprietary software to manage campaigns and report results. Solid proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint for client-ready reports and presentations.
• HTML knowledge a plus.
