I was thinking about this thread today after watching a newscast about how popular outsourcing of tech jobs to Pakistan and India has become. Kudos to you all for your success but I am starting to think I live in the stupidest country on the planet.

For the last decade we've been saying our country is moving from an industrial to a technical workforce. The idea was we would send off industrial work to other nations while we concentrated on technology. Now our economy is slowed down and we can't figure out why. Hmm.. could it be that we are outsourcing the very thing that was predicted to make us strong? Again kudos to you but what a foolish decision our companies are making. I have to wonder how long your employees will work for pennies on the dollar compared to ours. I guess if India doesn't ever open up fair trade you'll not have to worry about that.

I agree to your comments. Well, as for Indians working for pennies, it's not true any more. The average income of an experienced IT professional who knows what he talks has grown by 3 folds atleast.

There is shortage of manpower, yes, beleive me. I need more people for my company, can't find. :)
