I looked at the jewelswarehouse.com site with firefox and also on a pc with IE and in both cases some of the site graphics don't seem to be loading correctly.

The logo, on the far left, looks like the bottom of it is cut off, specifically the bottom of the red 'J' and 'W' seem cut off.

Also, the navigation in the left column. 'Search' and 'Watch Brands' looks ok, but the others in between those don't look quite right. Like either they weren't made right with bevel and emboss or something or they didn't finish loading correctly either.

Anyone else seeing this?

I see it the same way as you. I don't think it has anything to do with images loading incorrectly, but rather the images were made this way. They should fix this. It wouldn't be too hard.

I'm glad to know its not just me! Sometimes I wonder if I'm seeing things!

I haven't joined this program, but was considering it and so was looking at the site. I might replace another merchant with this one, since they are parasite free. But this should really be fixed first, it just doesn't look very professional.

Hello Bubbles, brandonv,

> some of the site graphics don't seem to be loading correctly

I do not show this problem after testing on 3 computers.

> looks like the bottom of it is cut off

Yes, you are correct the image for that particular logo was made like this on purpose so that it fits within the size of the banners that are branded with the name JewelsWarehouse.

If you notice on this page http://www.jewelswarehouse.com/banners.asp most of the same type banners were made this way on purpose. The other banner sizes are normal with the J and W complete.

BTW, the banners on this page will be uploaded soon to shareasale, some others are being designed too that are similar to the ones on the top left, such as Save $50, $40 and $20 in red color. There will be many sizes styles and most will have no mention of JW or branded, just waiting final from webmaster.

> the others in between those don't look quite right

You are correct again. I had not noticed that, little detail. While there is nothing wrong with the buttons throughout the site and they do work properly everywhere, I have already notified the webmaster and they will be fixed, etc.

> since they are parasite free.

you can say that again. I wish I could show you and tell you who, but in the short time this program has been on SAS we are doing GREAT. We already have affiliates that are making average sales of 500.00 and the conversion is also excellent. No hype, perhaps when you join one day you will come back here to this thread and prove me right or wrong.

I do thank you for your feedback and suggestions, it will help us look better when your customers click-through. Any other suggestions let me know any time here or affiliates@jewelswarehouse.com

As soon as the above are fixed I will give you an update.

Ok, I see that now. The 'J' has a really long bottom part on it. It seems like it would work better to either make those two letters smaller or fade them out on the bottom though, rather than cut them off. But that isn't any of my business really I guess, sorry.

I guess I tend to notice things like that, both in my own sites and in merchants sites. If a merchants site doesn't look very professional or like it isn't being kept up very well, I tend to be wary of joining their program. (Not that I don't get a bit sloppy with my sites too sometimes!)

I already joined, and will request ftp access for the feed soon, don't have time to work on it this minute however.

Thanks!

Glad to have you aboard. http://abestweb.com/smilies/yelclap.gif

Well, I had 2 people join today around 2pm. I am sure one of them is you, since I do not know your name here on ABW to match.

FTP access will be no problem for you, specially since both of the sites look great!

Thanks again for joining.

I joined before that, so neither of those were me, but I don't think you will have a problem with my site either.
