Can you set it up in CJ.com so that we can link to any page we want on your site, I think it's called the "destination url" under advanced options.

I need to link directly to BOTH specific products that you show on your site, but are not listed as available links on CJ

I also need to be able to link directly to specific category pages, such as "DVD Home Theater Systems"?

Lots of the existing product links showing at CJ are for old models that are no longer made, and there is also stuff on your site that I cannot currently link to.

Also, does it mean that you are out of something or it is no longer available when the link redirects right to the front page?

I know that's a bunch of questions, but my site is now making money, and I know exactly what I need and HOW I need to link it.

I hope you can help me on this ASAP, as my site is getting "highly targeted" traffic that is spending money.

Currently, we are not offering the ability to change link destinations. This is something that we will be offering after the new year though. We are in the process of revamping our site and will not be able to offer this until after that.

I can create specific links to destination pages for you though...such as to the Home Theater Category page. Please email which pages you would like links for.

The old product links are definitely something that I need to take care of. In all honesty though it'll be after christmas before I have the time to dedicate to that project. But I will clean that area up for all of you.

If you get redirected to the home page from a direct product link that means that the piece is no longer available through our site.

Honestly Matt, the way the monster cable items are set up it's tough to find anything (the text link just goes to the home page, btw) if I click on the monster bullet under home theater, for instance, I get 5-6 items without any picture, so it would be better if, as Cazzie requested, the advanced destination linking was turned on so that the affiliate could present the options in a logical layout on a Monster exclusive page as well as popping in a specific product to go with a VCR, DVD, or whole system.

I agree with you. I just wanted to start talking about Monster Cable and building it as an important add on that can earn you all extra money. I didn't want to start posting about it and then have absolutely no support material.

Maybe I jumped the gun...

We are working currently on revamping the whole site and when it's finished we will be allowing link re-direction and we will have a separate destination page for each manufacturer. It's coming but it'll be at least a couple more weeks.

Sorry if it's not really usable right now, I just thought we could start off slow and build it up. If I've made it more difficult than it's worth, it wasn't my intention.

I'll let you all know as soon as the site's re-done, we have link-redirection, etc....

Let me first talk about the speed issue. YES, it's a dramatic improvement. It blows me away how fast the new pages we're testing load. After, we go live with the updated site you'll have to let me know what you think.

Second - Inventory. This is the time of year inventory is always tough. Although we do have some items that you may want to focus on that we are heavily stocked in, they are:

This is something that we will be rolling out with the launch of our updated site. We are planning on having a whole web services area for all the affiliates and data feeds will be available there.

Because this will be on entirely different architechture we need to wait until then to offer this. In the meantime, you can always request a datafeed through Commission Junction.

The new site will have a ton of features that I'm sure will make things much smoother for all of you not to mention giving you more opportunities to earn commissions.

I really appreciate everyone's patience in waiting for the new site roll-out. I know I've been hinting at it for a while now....it's coming soon.
