I had 200+ click-thrus with no leads and a friend told me they requested 2 catalogs and no lead was recorded. This all happened by Wed last week - I have since pulled the links. I am in contact with shopathome.com and am waiting for a reply.

Why would a BHO theftware merchant be interested in paying out lead fees to affiliates. Seems that one is the weakest link in the ebiz plan.

Mike S.,

Do you realize that by promoting parasites you're cutting your own throat? You will never make money by promoting those who take from you.

Ebates, shopathome, etc., are not good choices for an affiliate to promote. They thrive on newbies who don't understand the big picture. You might check the names in the Parasite forums section here at ABW to make sure you aren't promoting any of them, as it's not a wise decision to do so.

It will be interesting to see if you hear back from shopathome. Please update us if you do.

Ditto the above. You are much better served by promoting the merchants directly yourself. Not someone else who is in competition with you. You may want to just forget about what ever lead Shop At Home has nixed you out of and just move forward with reselecting who you are promoting.

It's Your Money. You earned it. What are you going to do to make sure you get to keep it?

Yes, I am new. Thanks for the heads up on this. I will check out the Parasite forum.

The site I am talking about is shopathome.com and the site in the parasiteware forum is shopathomeselect.com. These are different. Shopathome still is history for me however. I see how these parasiteware companies work now so it was a good diversion to check all of this out. It seems once someone installs this garbage, that person is no longer going to provide commissions to anybody but the parasite and themselves for any participating merchants. What is the list of participating merchants?

No word from shopathome.com .

A rarety! I'll be nice and reserve my statements here.

===================================
Child labor laws exist yet, parasite partnering merchants (PP Merchants) and the COC allow an adult affiliates income to be diverted into the pockets of parasites and consider it normal business!

Why give parasites unlimited cookie durations and credit for sales where they divert our users and overwrite our cookies. PP merchants and the COC directly supports what many consider unfair trade practices, identity theft and thievery!

Come on Poon, you gotta tell him.
Obviously he doesn't know that Shop at Home and Shop at Home Select are the same. That if his people sign up for catalogs they will get bombarded to download the golden retriever software! Bye Bye commissions!

Pretty slick of them - use the free catalogs to get the parasite ware out! No word from them yet - perhaps ethics are not their highest priority!

Say, does anybody know about http://www.enigmasoftwaregroup.com ?
They supposedly detect spyware - or do they perhaps install it? I don't trust anybody these days!

Yes, Shop at Home TV is separate from that.
They are a different company.

Update - Yes after 1 week and 2 days after pulling my links and about 1 week after sending an inquiry, I got credited $15.60 for the leads on the 200 some click-thrus. No email back. 1 week and 2 days is a bit of time for the great computer age we live in now wouldn't you say. Only $34.40 more to the $50 minimum for payout - fear not I will not pursue. In visiting their site, I had the shopathomeselect.com popup ad show up and I noticed that they give commissions for shopathomeselect signups.
