Ordered Direcway from OrderDSL last Monday, actually got installed on Wednesday.. Still no $ in CJ. Of course I've emailed through cj's clunky interface, and no response, so until further notice, add OrderDSL to the "Does not track list"

Well, looks like an email to the merchant and a post here finally shook this transaction loose.

Yeah, but if you have to email them everytime to get them to not steal your commission, then sounds like they really aren't interested in having people promote their program, nor do they sound like they are interested in paying publishers.

Also, how are you suppose to know when other people place orders?

Sounds like a merchant to avoid like the plaque to me.

It is stated in the description on the merchant info page at CJ for OrderDSL.net-

"Sales are posted to your account upon Installation and Activation of the service which typically takes 2 to 3 weeks after the order is placed."


Personally I wouldn't jump to the non-tracking conclusion seeing that OrderDSL.net gets paid from Direcway and other DSL services. There is probably an additional couple days before OrderDsl.net themselves get paid and wait until then to approve the affiliate commission. I personally feel OrderDSl.net is a very good affiliate program with a 365 day cookie. I do fairly well with them though I haven't generated a huge amount of sales mostly because I haven't actively promoted the site that features OrderDsl as much as I should.

Wentzo-- I didn't notice that in their profile, good catch. I guess on CJ I'm just used to seeing almost instant reporting on sales.

Mine was installed on Wednesday too. No sale showed up in CJ report yet. Send them an email on the same day. No reply yet.

Wouldn't the test though be to not send them an email? I'm sure
they will always correct something once an email is sent but
the issue really is whether we will get credited from a website
visitor who we don't know and can't ask about...

The best test is probably to wait 2-3 weeks to see if it's in the account to see if they will give the commish w/o asking them for it.
