Bobbie,
I did a fresh download this evening (monday) and them sob's are redirecting every link of mine. When was the last time you checked your computer besides this morning? Did you have a chance to see if it was doing it this past week?

Well I have a fresh virgin install on my Win98 SE with IE6.0 system. Strange happenings. Sometimes I get redirects on certain merchants with an overwrite of my ID# and other times just a straight pass through. Maybe they have programmed the theftware to randomly activate the overwrites by rotating the merchants.
I'll have to play with it some more and even try several installs to see if they load different versions to bypass network compliance testing.

@Mike,
From the other ebates thread going right now, it would seem that others are getting those type of results. I guess when Paul Nichols said at the Nov 7th meeting that ebates would no longer redirect other affiliate links anymore with all new downloads, he really meant only some of the time. /infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif
I have a previous download and want to keep it to be able to test if they ever update the older versions. When I went to your site to get Wayne some CJ merchants that were affiliated with ebates, I was redirected 100% of the time. I really started to feel for you. If ebates can change their install since the meeting to do "random" redirects, then they could easily program their software to do no redirects and update all older installs to do the same. Any other claim they make is pure horse manure pure and simple. This holiday season will be milked by others for all it's worth.
With ebates having over 500 merchants, it gets to be a PITA to find merchants which are parasite free. But they are out there. I think I'll be doing some page building later today. And on the bright side, using merchants not associated will mean that I'll have offering on my site that every other affiliate out there doesn't. /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
