Using the past three months, what is your average monthly net (before taxes) in affiliate marketing?

I figure the crassness of this question is eased by the anonymity of your answer, but if you hate the question, please don't feel obligated to answer. /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

The problem, with a poll like this, is that those doing well are all too eager to answer, while those not doing well, will be more reluctant.

Non-the-less, it is interesting.

You're absolutely right, Ssanf... I was hoping the anonymity of the voting booth would help, but maybe not. /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Be patient, it looks like it is starting to take off.

How about I just skip over the $500 and $2000 and just go for the big bucks!

I guess I'd better look at your links and see what kind of commissions you are offering.

A wise mentor taught me, it's not always how big the commission offered is, it's how well can you promote it to make the big bucks.
Mind you, generous commissions never hurt either. /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Maybe not ALWAYS, but there is a point where it takes so much extra effort to make enough sales for a decent check, that there is no real benefit in promoting a place even if it converts well (compared to promoting a place that knows how to pay a real commission).

The problem with these kind of polls is that some have only been doing AM for less than 6 months, while others are veterans. Obviously it takes a few months to get the first site up and running, spidered and optimized, and those first months earnings would usually be low.

I would have loved to see a similar poll for those who have been serious about AM for at least 6 months.

Well, I am hovering just a bit over 3k myself and I KNOW there are DOZENS here who have a hell of a lot more going than I do.

Before taxes? You mean we are suppose to pay taxes?
