All:

This Board is being established to gauge interest in some things that our on the development table. We would love to get your feedback and suggestions on the ideas below as well as generate new ideas. Right now some of the items we are looking at include:

1) Dynamic Creative including
a) Top XX Sellers Overall or By Category
b) Keyword Based Lists
These items would be available in same size formats as Google AdWords

2) Dynamic Entry Pages - Where an affiliate could pass a keyword in the click through url and the page would be created in the category page format for all available titles.

3) Package Deal Pages where affiliates could create their own combo-packs for one click ordering

4) Real-Time Reporting

5) Weekly payments for affiliates earning more then 20K per month.

6) Enhancing Datafeed so that entry page could be changed from http://www.usubscribe.com/order.cfm?id=63424 to
http://www.usubscribe.com/order_new.cfm?id=63424 or
http://www.usubscribe.com/order_gift.cfm?id=63424 or
http://www.usubscribe.com/order_renew.cfm?id=63424 or
http://www.usubscribe.com/cover_view.cfm?id=63424

7) Dynamic Ordering Creative where affiliates could host there own quick order forms with input boxes on their sites.

8) A weekly email that alerts (opt-in) affiliates to new title adds and deletes.

9) Including the magazine logo as a creative option

10)An optional parameter that affiliates could add to their links to remove the phone number from the uSubscribe header graphic.

Bring it on!

Welcome to ABW

All the tools you list are good ideas... and useful to us affiliates..

there are two tools I see missing from the list PSC and a website template that uses your your datafeed.

the confusing thing I see here at ABW among the merchants is their reluctance to offer either software to create a website using their feed or as eVitamins does a website template the using a live feed.

This is where affiliate marketing to going... why not be a leader... then a follower??

All the programs that offer this tool here at ABW are experiencing success with this strategy.

especially the programs that have large feeds...

I am seriously considering not adding an more programs that are not offering this tool.

Concider this... 80+ percent of all affiliate marketers know nothing about programing and have no desire to learn... give them a template or software... and they will market your entire catalog...
with out it maybge they might put up one or two banners or links...

remember 10% get 90% of all sales... it's time to change those numbers...

PSC is in the works. As for the website temple what about our private labels program? You can see some samples of the sites we run at http://www.magazine-services.net/directory.cfm

Sounds like a lot of dev work is on the board! Hope the tech team is ready to roll up their sleeves! http://abw.infopop.cc/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Personally, I think a product catalog update email list would be useful so that we're not promoting products that have been dropped (#8 above)

And #7 would be great if it's what I think it means.

Could you clarify #2 above? It's not entirely clear what you mean about the landing page.

>8) A weekly email that alerts (opt-in)
>affiliates to new title adds and deletes.

Yes, oh yes.

10)An optional parameter that affiliates could add to their links to remove the phone number from the uSubscribe header graphic.

That'd be nice too.

KJ:

#2 is where you would be able to have dynamic category pages. The reason they were called landing is because they would only be accessible via external links.

Example:
http:// www. usubscribe.com/dynamicpage.cfm?TitleID=12345+12346+12348+43213&term=Tennis

This would produce a page that would be in the same layout as our category page and would display items 12345,12346,etc as well as display any additional items that matched the search term tennis.

Sorry..maybe I wasn't clear that this was a proposed (non-working link). I was only trying to outline the possible syntax.

For simplicity imagine a page that looks like:
http://www.usubscribe.com/category.cfm?grp=3 (This one is a real link)

Where you could select which magazines based by title and search term that you wanted to display. Almost like a hosted version of the PSC.

Thanks for the clarification.

Could you kindly give your gut feeling on the list in terms of priority/schedule/release dates?
