To our current and future Affiliates,

Here's the BackcountryStore.com policy on reversals.

Invalid Credit Card - We use this to reverse all fraudulent transactions from stolen credit cards. Our system lets most credit cards through because we don't want to block legitimate customers who simply make a typing mistake. A lot of fraud comes through from valid credit cards with address matches but the ship to address is Indonesia.

Returned Merchandise- Take a look at the BackcountryStore.com Return Policy (http://www.backcountrystore.com/returnpolicy.htm)

Duplicate Order - This rarely happens, but if a legitimate customer hit checkout twice it's possible that the same sale was credited twice.

Unqualified Lead - This is used for test orders that are put through at the request of an Affiliate. It's also used when the order originates from a country that we do not ship to, such as Romania, China, etc.

So there you go, that should relieve some of the mystery surrounding reversals. If you ever have questions regarding reversed transactions don't hesitate to email or call me. I'm here to help you.

Thanks,

Bryan
