We are working on banners that feature new summer products. Take a look at the newest skyscraper featuring Award Winning Gear from Outside Magazine.

BackcountryStore.com Banners (http://www.backcountrystore.com/banners.htm)

I'd like to get your feedback on that banner and what sizes you prefer for your sites. It doesn't make sense to create banners that nobody wants to host, so please let me know what you think.

Thanks,

Bryan

I like the skyscrapper, I'll use it just the way it is.

Thanks. Glad you like it. We'll be coming out with more banners this week. Is there a particular size or focus you would like to see?

What do you think about this one? It's 120 x 600 instead of 160 x 600.

Bryan,

I love it!

Make "free shipping" larger (if possible) and in red flashing "faster" ... to make it "perfect"!

... a red border (not gray) would, also, catch more attention.

Yes, I agree with Haiko!

I think a red border would ruin that banner because it would fight with the product images. If you make a red-border version, please provide it "as well as" the grey one, not "instead of".

buckworks,

 The "red" ties into the middle of the ad (the hydration pack) and reiteratarates the color expectations on the call to action (click) via such (design wise it is a selling point).

It would depend on what else was on the same page, I suppose.

Red is a tricky color. At the same time as it calls attention to itself, it also serves as a warning color. As you can see, this "mad" graemlin wouldn't get the message across as well if it were a different color. However, a yellow color would also tie into the product colors and is generally considered a happier color. /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I'll make a few changes and see what you guys think.

How about trying the trusty old black border.
