You sent it me twice /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif Haiko de Poel, Jr. April 16th, 2002, 01:58 AM Gordon, Since I don't have the DB of our affiliates I can't remove those duplicates, I'm sorry, hopefully it was better the second time tongue.gif Haiko Pete April 16th, 2002, 02:49 AM LOL Gordon. Looks good Haiko.. I especially like the info at 2. Enticing the Click! Very helpful! Although, when I clicked a link at your 'In this issue:', it opened a new browser window (which showed nothing), instead of jumping down the email to that section. thanks Pete potato April 16th, 2002, 03:11 AM [ 04-19-2002: Message edited by: potato ] dete99 April 16th, 2002, 09:39 AM H, Thanks for the information, good job very informative  jaybat April 16th, 2002, 11:22 AM Can't have a send-as-text option? Gordon April 16th, 2002, 12:19 PM No problem Haiko I was only jesting. I never get fed up of reading Abestweb related stuff. net4biz April 16th, 2002, 03:37 PM Haiko, Really great job on the newsletter...most professionally done job I have seen online in 10 years. Informative, easy to read and the ads were subtle but effective. Take a bow, dude...that's the way it should be done. /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Leader April 18th, 2002, 05:14 AM Pretty good overall, but I have to disagree with some points. First, the day I write an OUTLINE to come up with some sales spin for a page will be a cold day in...!!! IMO, it's better to just let the words flow and edit later, once the basics of how to do it are learned. It makes the pitch "sound" much more natural/not wooden. ---Having every page go directly to the Buy Page on the merchant's site sounds great Until you decide to sell hundreds of different products. There is a point at which the Law of Diminishing Returns kicks in and negates the fact that there is a higher CR from direct links. Direct links work okay for a small site but once the affiliate site gets to a substantial size, making all those links as individuals gets very old. Merchants with good nav from their front page (presuming all else about them is good too) are gems! PS Haiko, I'll have to change the email address on record here once I get another box set up (soon). The "webmaster@" address was too easy for spammers to guess out so I killed it... tmd5 April 18th, 2002, 06:39 AM Excellent job Haiko! Thank you!
