I hate to say this everyone... but all it really means is that more of us who use ABW are also using the Alexa bar. I noticed that after I began using it. All the sites that I normally visit, including ABW & GoCollect, have gone up in the rankings. If everyone that uses ABW used the Alexa Bar, then you will see the ranking go through the roof.

It's all subjective... but the fact that ABW has broken the 10,000 mark does show that this is a top site, regardless of the slight data skew. Rather than congratulating Haiko and everyone that's worked on ABW for the ranking... I would simply like to congratulate you all on developing a quality product for the online affiliate community. One where both affiliates & merchants can work together and build on the successes of our industry. I'm more than happy to represent GoCollect.com, and be an active part of ABW.

Rank 8,500 is darned good whichever way you look at it, but I guess boards like this tend to rack up loads of page views, rather than just uniques.

That is cool and all... but as Lou pointed out, pretty useless stat.

On my servers we have one site (site#1) that gets 10x the amount of traffic as another (site#2)(by unique visitors). Alexa ranks site#2 higher. I know why, the kids on site#1 are tech savy and paranoid.

Too bad the stats aren't coming from netscape anymore.
