But in order to become a "Vegas Experts" affiliate You have to pay $150 to join Share-a-Sale. This sounds more like a scam to me.

Beggers, only the merchant pays the $150 fee. The affiliates do not pay anything. The only problem with shareasale is that very few of the merchants in their program generate sales. This I think is due to the lack of name recognition that most shareasale merchants have.

Hi All

Beggars, Yes I'd eagerly throw my name into the Scam hat, I can see it doing Mondera a world of good , especially after we just won Best Program award on ABW /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

We don't touch parasites and we don't work with any Merchant that we don't feel is legit. A lot of casino's etc I wouldn't go near, VE is a solid name in it's niche and I know personally some of their Handicappers.

As Steve said the $150 is for Merchants to sign up not Affiliate Members (that is free).

We're using SAS for this merchant rather than Linkshare due to their budget constraints, my preference would be Linkshare but not everyone has the initial funds to start there, some need to grow before they can get there.

At present affiliate base is small, it's a brand new program and we will be marketing it more fully in January.

Steve any feedback you have on the support site and so on would be greatly appreciated
