I own nhlstore.com and I am looking for an affiliate program that would go with the whole NHL theme. The site will simply be a store, so I really want the user to buy the stuff from my site but use some other site as the back bone.

Any ideas?

Sounds like you are either looking to cobrand another store or have a fulfillment house simply ship your order. To really do a good job cobranding, you will need to have a lot of face to face contact with your partners. Anonymous affiliation probably is not the answer.

If you haven't done so already you might want to get permission from NHL legal to use their trademarked name. You wouldn't want to put a lot of work into a site, you might have to dump later.

You may also want to have a hook, or reason for people to stop by or get directed to your site throught search engins, maybe have the team by team schedule on your site for them to look at, or grab some other sort of content.
