Greetings,

My name is Karen Bailey and I'm the affiliate manager for Soma-Slim Advanced Weight Loss Formula. I'd like to thank you in

advance for reading this message.

We're proud to announce our Platinum Affiliate Plan. This program represents a chance for successful web marketers to make

big money in the growing field of weight loss. Recent estimates suggest 60% of all Americans are overweight. A significant

number of these people use the Internet daily to purchase weight loss solutions.

We offer a high conversion rate for targeted traffic. Our current specials are converting at a nearly unheard of rate.

If you run a weight loss or diet website, this high converting plan may be of great interest to you.

Average order size is $75. We pay a generous first level commission of 30% for Tier 1 and 10% for Tier 2
affiliates.

Our offer includes free shipping, free vacation sweepstake entry, and free ebook. Our main problem has been keeping the

product in stock. Experienced marketers are welcome to join our up and coming program.

Any owner of a weight loss or diet related website should seriously consider this offer to monetize their traffic.

Please read more about our plan at http://www.soma-slim.com/weight-loss-affiliates.html

Thanks in advance for considering the Soma-Slim Platinum Affiliate Plan.

It appears that this is not yet ready to go public.

Your "Call now to order:" has no phone number.

You might want to reconsider what your site looks like with all the Google ads on most pages. To me that makes it look like a made-for-adsense site. Overall it looks more like an affiliate site than a merchant site.

Just my opinion

Hello Ray, good opinion. This is an affiliate site. it uses the extension. .com/weight-loss-affiliates.html However, the Home page for Soma-Slim is being duplicated. Except for a few books and obvious links on the home page- it has Adsense Ads all over it as well.

Not hard to see where the Adsense idea came from. Works ok for an affiliate. FWIW I feel it gives away credibility? when the homepage looks like an Affiliate Site/Page. Just by way of some helpful feedback.

Don't think the site was a success.

I was focused on getting my posts up to 250 and responding to- Ray's answer- this threw me. Unread Today, 08:16 PM ha ha ha ha! :)

Does it still count towards the 250 posts? after all we are current- the info is current and people do still set up sites like these today? :)

250 posts is not written in stone. Posting solely to increase your post count has been known to increase your requirement. just sayin'

Funny how as a newbie you really want that magic 250 post count but when you actually reach it, after posting 250 times, you realize that your emphasis has changed completely and 250 in itself is really pretty insignificant. And, for me at least, the PMs didn't suddenly start flying back and forth, and after going beyond 250 you realize the only prestige was from and for yourself.

In reply to 2 busy I was only joking :artist: ha! You might want to take a look at some of my recent posts they say more in one post than many people post in a month. ( I think off-hand there are at least three that are 3-4 pages long)

Also, you can take from that- I am a writer. I couldn't care-a-less about the 250 posts. If I am still here then- ok. If not- I am probably writing another hot article like "Affiliate Marketing Experience Pays" that starts E Zine articles to calling me an "expert author" on "affiliate marketing."

If they keep offering me the gig to write regular articles on affiliate marketing for them- again- I might cave in under the strain and have to say yes. Simply put, I love writing. So no- sorry all, I don't think I will be changing my focus any. (or need to) popcorn

Hi boomers (winking back) I know I leave myself wide open for that. Different strokes for different folks. This is how I relax. I give myself permission and allow myself to make mistakes. Besides when required I work my butt off.

The Article, Affiliate Marketing Experience Pays is ranked no 1, 2, 3, 4, and No 5 in Google. I could not beat that benchmark if I tried. I don't think I could match it even. Maybe its a one-off inspired by a good bottle of Whisky, a strong Marijuana joint and a good night with a willing and pretty lady ha! :)

Now I am kidding here, its all part of a writers imagination. I dont drink, smoke, or smoke dope. The pretty lady... well if I find her- you will be the first to know :)

best wishes Stratplayer1

I think you will not only have trouble finding affiliates but also making sales,
Far to many advertisements and not very professional looking.
A shame really the product seems sellable.
