Calling All Fishing Site Owners That Want To Make Money!

I just launched my new program and it is converting 1 out of every 150 visitors - and making great money for everyone!

I WANT A LONG TERM RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU.

I pay 10% ($20 per sale, and $6 per sale on the exit traffic downsell). With those metrics, anyone sending 100 unique fishermen to me will make about $10 - $15 on average for fishing traffic.

Keep in mind, the conversion ratio will get better over time as I am constantly tweaking the website to improve conversions - step by step.

It's a 90-Day cookie. For those customers that do not buy, I send a series of follow emails to persuade them to buy, and many of them do.

I am looking forward to some long term affiliate relationships, and will constantly be testing new ads and rolling them out based on PERFORMANCE.

If you have a fishing or outdoors type site, please check out the site at:

Sandra -

Oh darn. Well unfortunately I am at the mercy of OneShoppingCart.com on this one.

Has anyone seen an issue with not having a secure signup form for affiliate programs?

I will contact them to see if it is possible in the future to offer this. There are a lot of affiliate programs run with OneShoppingCart, and I haven't heard of any issues.

How concerned should I be about this?

Thanks,

Dan

I have spoken with OneShoppingCart and they have assured me that no information can be compromised due to how they have it set up.

This is a major shopping cart solution, and they are used to run over 1000 affiliate programs.

I am looking forward to having some fishing/outdoor affiliates sign up soon!

If you want people to take you seriously, spend the few dollars on an SSL certificate for your domain and get it set up. Then you will be able to make your signup page, and any other page you wish, secure.
Just a suggestion.

Hello Danski,

Tell them it MUST be secure, they need to purchase a SSL certificate.

Never trust when enayone says "the way they have it set up" is secure. There is no such thing.

Only SSL is internet standard.

If they canno help you set one up on your own domain like scohaz says.

Better yet, if they disagree send them this link

they are invited here to show us how this works.

Thanks for all of the input guys.

I will work with them to make the signup page secure. Hopefully they will cooperate.

I just cannot believe that they run so many affiliate programs, yet there isn't a secure signup page. You would think people would have complianed before.

I will get to the bottom of this and let you all know.

Thanks,

Dan

Whew, we finally got the entire affiliate program (sign up form, administration pages, everything) secure and locked down. I apologize for that!

We are in the process of hiring a graphic artist to pretty things up a bit, but I really wanted to get things rolling, and give the folks over here at abestweb first shot at promoting our site.

If you have any fishing/outdoors traffic, you will make money by sending them to our site.

Don't take it from me though, signup now and grab your affiliate link. Send some visitors, I want to PROVE to you that it converts.

Here is our affiliate program information page with link to the secure signup form:

And please, send me all questions and concerns here :

eggerda@eveningsecretfishing.com

Thanks for your time.

Sincerely,

Daniel Eggertsen
