Hi everyone,

I wanted to introduce our new advertiser / publisher CPA network, OfferFusion (http://www.offerfusion.com).

We have just completed live testing with a small number of publishers, and are accepting applications for new partners. We feature a number of great, high-converting cpa offers, real-time reporting, detailed stats and publisher options and great payouts.

Have a look at our site and consider running a couple offers to try us out. We know you'll be happy with the results and responsiveness you'll receive. We aim to cater to you, the publisher while presenting the best in performance-based offers.

We look forward to hearing from you, and I will be checking this forum often to answer any questions. Feel free to email me directly at greg.fry@offerfusion.com

Since you haven't responded to my questions elsewhere.

First this is your whois info, which you insist was just an honest mistake??? You have/had nothing to hide, just a slip on the keyboard from entering valid info, to typing all those undisclosed???

So with that,

Why should we trust you?

What is your track record?

What seperates you from the 10,000 other new affiliate programs?

Let me guess, you specialize in email advertising?

What was your real company name before? What domains did you send mail from before? Don't make me dig, don't lie to me about your domain names. Be honest now.

Was that derogatory? You do or you don't like "hill billies"? Is that sort of like the "redneck" ethnic group, who I have been informed are quite sensitive about their ethnic origins, or is it all together a different group? You do or you don't like people named "Joe" or "Justin"? Do you mean people who are "hill billies" marry for the wrong reasons having to do with gun ownership and immoral behavior or something else?

You have me totally flumexed.

Hi Chet and Gordon,

Thanks for your interest... I'll try to answer each of the questions you've posed:

"What was your real company name before? What domains did you send mail from before? Don't make me dig, don't lie to me about your domain names. Be honest now."

As we are a brand-new entity, there was no company name prior to OfferFusion. My background is as a publisher, and as such I've developed strong ideas on how a network should function in a publisher-friendly fashion. Our company was incorportated in March and did not exist prior to that date under any other name.

"Sure give you a try, give a bum $10 and ask him to buy me a winning lottery ticket. Its all the same..."

As you know, this is a competitive industry highly dependant on reputation. There are obviously many choices for you as a publisher, and as a new company we are going to do everything possible to establish and maintain a positive reputation. Otherwise, we would have no future in this industry.

"Let me guess, you specialize in email advertising?"

Due to the current state of email advertising, we are focused more on banner and text placement. For our publishers who work largely in email marketing, we are carefully screening publishers and requiring acceptance of can-spam compliance prior to the initiation of any email campaigns. Any reports of our partner publishers using spam to promote our offers must be dealt with. We are subject to the same impact of blacklisting as any other legitimate network.

Again, if you have any further questions or comments, please feel free to ask. You can also email me directly if you wish at greg.fry@offerfusion.com.

Best wishes,

Greg

So you are a brand new affiliate network, not even 30 days old, use fake whois info, have your name and same false whois associated with a bucketful of sites - non of those were you. You are brand new? That is all as they say in the business a cowinkydink?

And anyone should spend time on you, as a new network, losing money they could be making elsewhere because??? You are going to try harder? Not sure harder than your own free-blank-forme.com programs? Or harder than other affiliate networks?

So much smoke and mirrors with you Justin, oops gus.

Hi again Chet,

I have, I think, answered each of your questions. My answers have been honest and hopefully helpful to others who have read them.

Our domain info has been updated to reflect our business contact information as below:

Registrant: OfferFusion, Inc. 2020 Maltby Rd. Suite 7 #247 Bothell, Washington 98021 United States Registered through: GoDaddy.com (http://www.godaddy.com) Domain Name: OFFERFUSION.COM Created on: 10-Mar-04 Expires on: 10-Mar-05 Last Updated on: 11-Mar-04 Administrative Contact: OfferFusion, Inc. info@offerfusion.com OfferFusion, Inc. 2020 Maltby Rd. Suite 7 #247 Bothell, Washington 98021 United States 866764274 Domain servers in listed order: NS1.NAMETOIP.NET NS2.NAMETOIP.NET

As for your other comments, I'm not sure exactly what else to say... I'm confused as to why you would think: "And anyone should spend time on you, as a new network, losing money they could be making elsewhere because???"

Why would our partners lose money? We have made every effort to provide the highest possible payouts for each of the offers we carry. As I have worked with a number of other networks as a publisher, I can say that of those major networks, our payouts are higher on many of the offers - not all, but many. So therefore, publishers who run our offers versus those on another network will likely make more money with OfferFusion.

As for my publisher sites, FreeDVD4Me etc., I'm not sure what you're asking. I introduced this thread as a place to talk about our new network and answer questions, etc. for those who are interested in working with us. If you'd like to discuss other matters, please email me directly.

Thanks again,

Greg

Greg, I honestly think you don't get it.

To not understand how promoting one program can a be a losing venture, it to not understand. If I promote you Vs an established, known network and you end up not paying, not tracking - I lose what I could have earned on the other network.

You do not appear to have any exclusive offers, what do you have to make me want to choose you? Faked domain name information? A brand new LLC - even though it appears this same group of people have run sites previously (guessing from exact same bs whois etc).

You say you cam as a publisher, look at the other smaller networks, they say where they came from exactly, what they bring to the table.

You?

Honestly, besides saying you have super service, why in the world should any affiliate spend one second of their time with you versus other networks?

There are things you could say - that you are not saying. Meaning either again, you do not understand the business and the concerns of publishers who make a living doing this, or that you do not offer those features. Either way, you are simply presenting zero reason why anyone should spend one second of time with you.

Chet

Hi Chet,

We are working to bring a number of exclusive offers to the network, and currently carry several that I don't think you'll find anywhere else. We wanted to have a core group of established advertiser up and running at launch.

We will pay all publishers as described in the faq. Not paying would obviously doom our network.

We offer real-time detailed stats, an easy method of implementing unique id variable attachments for incentive publishers to track conversions to their specific members and high payouts. We will be introducing monthly volume bonuses shortly. We allow incentivized publishers unlike most other networks.

We are not an LLC, we're an S-Corp.

In terms of where I come from, I think I answered this - I have been working exclusively as a publisher for the last two years on the sites I mentioned above.

Thanks again,

Greg

Greg:

I've been watching this from the sideline, because Chet, as usual, has been able to cut to the crux of the matter more effectively than I.

In regard to this statement -

quote:
We allow incentivized publishers unlike most other networks.

Am I to understand that this means you will allow rebate sites such as eBates, Upromise and the like into your network?

Also, to further press the points Chet has made - what would make me (or any affiliate) choose OfferFusion over Affiliate Fuel (or other networks)?

OfferFusion
April 28th, 2004, 09:44 AM
Hi Karl,

Thanks for your question...

Are you asking if rebate sites would be accepted as publishers on the network to pull offers to run on their sites? If so, then yes, incentivized publishers including rebate and rewards-based sites are free to join and pull offers. The offers are filtered in the publisher's account to only show those that the advertiser has agreed would fit with that publisher. In other words, incentive sites would not be able to view or add offers that the advertiser has not specifically agreed to be incentivized.

As for choosing OfferFusion over other networks, I in no way am going to say anything bad about any other network. I have worked with all of them at one point in time or another, and most have lots of good reasons to work with them. (Not all, but most) As a publisher, I work with a number of networks simultaneously depending on the offer payouts, payment terms, etc. We have no exclusivity clause or anything along those lines, so publishers are free to work with us in addition to any other networks they choose. I fully realize that on some offers, we will not always be able to offer the highest payouts, and in those cases I would fully expect our publishers to pull those offers from elsewhere, and to work with us on offers where we are able to present the best payouts.

I'm under no illusion that we are to explode on the scene overnight. I expect that as partners become familiar with us, receive the treatment and responsiveness they would like, receive timely payments and see the offers we are adding to the mix, we will grow and there will be many more voices to say that we are a company that is great to work with.

Best,

Greg

Thanks for being upfront about the rebate & incentive sites, which answers a lot of questions for me.

To this point ...
quote:
As for choosing OfferFusion over other networks, I in no way am going to say anything bad about any other network.

I would not expect you to do so. That being said, each network seems to have some sort of upside to tout. For example, Affiliate Fuel is great with lead acquisition programs and personal customer service; SaS is out there as parasite-free; CJ has breadth, depth and a sophisticated (when it works) interface. Without slamming the competition, what sets OfferFusion apart?

I'm impressed by the way have responded to all the questions here. Good job!

Is there a way we can see the list of merchants, either here, PM or by email? I'm really hesitant to sign up, give you all my personal information including social security number, before learning more about you and the companies you represent.

Thanks.

OfferFusion

Hi Karl and Ron,

Thanks for your responses.

In our first round of advertiser aquisition, we are focusing on established merchants with set CPA offers - in other words, no shopping offers with percentage payouts. All offers currently are fixed pricing. Many of the offers are great converters for free trials or offers where the user just pays shipping and handling, with excellent payouts.

It is unlikely we will be adding % offers that pay out based on the amount spent by the user. As you've pointed out, there are plenty of other networks focusing on these types of programs. We also offer a number of short-form registration pay-per-lead offers.

If anyone would like a list of current available offers before signing up, feel free to email me at greg.fry@offerfusion.com and I'll be happy to get more info to you. Also, you can sign up for a publisher account and leave the tax id blank for now. Before you can start actively promoting offers, however, you'll just need to update it.

Thanks, and I look forward to the opportunity to work with you!

Greg

Hi everyone,

Just a quick update - we added a number of great offers in our first week live, including a great short-form (single page) free personals offer that looks like it will be a great converter!

Lots of other fresh offers available with many more on track to come on board in the next 2 weeks.

Looking forward to working with many of you!

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to post a quick update on the latest news from OfferFusion...

We just added more than a dozen new offers to the network, all easy converters for free trials, single-page short-form apps requiring only user name and email, etc.

Also, we've just added HTTP post reporting capability, so that any partner publishers set up to receive real-time transaction data can do so. As far as we know, we are only the second network to offer this as an option. It eliminates the need to download daily csv files with your sales info, as it it instead posted directly to your system.

Please feel free to sign up for your publisher account at http://www.offerfusion.com. If you have any questions, feel free to email me directly at greg.fry@offerfusion.com.

Best wishes,

Greg Fry

Hi everyone,

Just another quick update...

we've just unveiled our publisher referral program! All approved publishers now receive a signup link with their welcome email that can be used to refer other webmasters to our network. The referrer receives 5% lifetime commission on their referral's earnings!

So, you can now make money with OfferFusion (http://www.offerfusion.com) without ever even promoting a single offer.

Let me know if you have any questions about this or anything else at greg.fry@offerfusion.com.

Best wishes,
