This is one of the things that keeps me going. The ability to make a difference and encourage this person to make a difference in their life. The satisfaction of seeing them succeed, reaching their goals and knowing that i was a small part of that success.

Subject: New Partnership
Hello Andy,
This is XXXXX XXXXXX from BargXXXX.com (XXXXXX on ABW). I wanted
to let you know that I would like to try again in a partnership with you.
As you know, I was just about to launch the new datafeed site- when TD
pulled the rug out from under me. It has been hard for me to recover. I
still have XXXXX.com available, but it is undeveloped. My plans are for
something a little different....and I wanted your feedback. I would like to
create XXXXX as a "portal" for saving people money (especially in
today's economy). Not just another "shopping" site or mall, but one that
can help people save money on many things, i.e:
I want to build this as a great traffic site, with plenty of stickiness. I
wanted to sign up for your two new programs: SurplusComputers and
Superstore_Electronics, for a type of "merchant" section for my visitors to
save money on purchases. I will not need a datafeed or any other "special"
item other than text links and specials links. I was afraid to sign up-
since my site is once again "under construction", as it were. I want to
stay close to you, because to me- you are a proven winner in affiliate
marketing.....you know what you are talking about, and I value your advice
and feedback. Do you think this type of site will do well, etc. I know that
when we talked on the phone- I realized that you were the only AM out there
that really cared if I sank or swam in this business, and I will always
remember that. I look forward to your reply- so that I will know where to
go from here.
Sincerely,
XXXX XXXX

How much actual cash have you put into affiliate pockets Andy to reward them for their pre-sell efforts? I sure know anything you touched sent me a check every month.

Thanks Vinny, and Mike, but this is not about me...this is about you..what keepd you motivated to continue making links, continue looking at your stats, looking for that first, second and third daily sale...
Do you all realize that if tommorow you didn't create any more links to any merchant, if your traffic to the merchants dwindled down to mothing, what would be of their affiliate programs?
Would they only depend on the "technology affiliates" ?
What have you put aside in your life to devote those countless hours to those merchants?

http://abestweb.com/smilies/bonk.gif What keeps me going!
Well the reason why this keeps me going is because I would rather own a business as it is and know that when I'm not working on my site the revenue still comes in. It's not based on day by day operations is based on quality and commitment and a true belief that this business can achieve your dreams and this business is a business(passive income comes in) not only that but a $25 check that comes in my mail box gives me the belief that this works. Not having to worry about working over 40 hours a week and racking up medical expenses because of overworking or working the "job" of 2 people or more. Besides I like giving the option of helping others be successful. I believe that anyone can do this business, they don't have to be smart all the time. Just be creative and try new things.. and check your logs and find out how you can fix any problem solvers. This business has taught me way more then what I wasted at school for over 12 years or more and I keep on learning more and more as every day comes and goes. If I don't do something about my future now I will be stuck like other familys working. Working over 80 hours a week! and lack of sleep and struggling.. as it is. Okay that's my info. and I'm going back to wrk on new pages :0).
Each day, and the living of it, has to be a conscious creation in which discipline and order are relieved with some play and pure foolishness..... May Sarton http://www.abestweb.com/smilies/mango.gif http://abestweb.com/banana.gif http://abw.infopop.cc/greamlins/singer.gif Back to work now!

What keeps me going?
Having come from not knowing where our next meal was going to come from, having visited the food shelf a few times....
My kids and my parents whom I support keep me going. Knowing that I can send my daughter to a good college next year, that my parents don't have to worry about getting their medications every month. Knowing that I have been able to pay back every "handout" I have been given.

Seriously though it is waking up every morning knowing I am helping people do what they want to do and providing them the support and tools they need to get it done. I love being in this industry and very glad that I stuck with it. I still remember when I got my first affiliate check from ValueClick back in early 1999, just a month after I got my very first computer. Never looked back since...

tisk, tisk, taking your own thread off topic...
Did you get my email about the feed?
When I post on some other boards, I go by Red Wine http://abw.infopop.cc/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
Mo Money!
Like seeing those top ten results also, but I mostly like the bigger checks every month, especially when they range from 20% to 60% growth monthly.

At 6:06 AM, a car started, headed for work.

AVOIDING EMPL*YMENT while not being broke, of course, is "A #1." Unlike c*ntent, absolutely nothing whatsoever can redeem the state of empl*yment IMO.
Not having to worry about BS like whether bread went up 20c/loaf or if gasoline's up 5c/gallon is another thing. Little stuff like that shouldn't matter and now it doesn't!
The chance to GREATLY improve my lifestyle is another motivator.
Also, I want to get out of this giant walk-in freezer called Michigan and into a place where it does not freeze. And in my own house, too, including pool!
In other words, MONEY...

Maybe I just hate to lose. Maybe it's that I don't have anything left to lose. Hmm, it that last one that keep me up at night.
