Have to go with TigerDirect who's program, if left unchanged, as molded by Andy Rodreguez surpasses all others for earnings from my domain bound traffic. They were able to triple the earnings of Overstock from similar traffic volume in Y2003 over Y2002 stats. I only have enough traffic to showcase 2 major merchants sending 100+ visitors a day to these two.

Now if this was a poll based upon Holiday sales neither would get a honorable mention. Both are 80% below last years totals even with the muzzling of certain BHO's. My second choice would be Essential Apparel who are well deserving of more site exposure next year.

My vote goes to Eastwood. This program has done a major about-face this past year. Eastwood hired a new AM, Patrice, who is affiliate friendly and active in the ABW community. Eastwood has gone from a program that many affiliates disliked to one that is very attractive. Eastwood has redesigned their site, rolled out a datafeed, offered new linking tools, and asked for input from its affiliates on how to make things better for everyone.

The communication is good now, input from affiliates is appreciated and acted on, there are lots of promotions offered to help drive business, and affiliates have been made a part of the Eastwood team.

All this from a conservative, established company that started out because a guy just wanted to help others find the right things to restore their old cars with, and he didn't want others to make the same mistakes he'd made restoring his own cars.

This shows that a company can recognize when change needs to be made, and act upon it quickly. I hear records and goals are being broken now at Eastwood, and it's obvious why this is happening. Eastwood's affiliate program has really made some positive changes this year, and no doubt this will continue in the next year. http://abw.infopop.cc/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

DiscountCandleShop / CandlePeople / CheesePeople

Not a huge earner for me personally, but it's quite a fun program and they are the only people I can think of who do a datafeed for online cheese shopping!

One of the few merchants I can think of that treats their affiliates as partners too. It's another one of those programs I *wish* I could generate more traffic for! http://abw.infopop.cc/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Again, I am truly truly honored to even be mentioned among the other programs here. Andy, I can't thank you enough for your kind words. You have a unique perspective in knowing the product line. I feel so grateful for your trust and your participation. Akiva, I look forward to seeing your site listed every single day in my sales reports.

I thought they were put in the Network category last year, but since they are not in it this year I think Amazon.com is hands down the best affiliate program this year and of all time. The prgram should also receive the lifetime achievement award, induction into the Hall of Fame, and a big pat on the back.

I'll second that. The Product Showcase Creator would make me put essentialapparel first, though.

Hey thanks for the two votes, guys! I know we are a good program, but there are many good affiliate mangers / partners out there.

If we don't make the list for 2003, you bet all that we have in store for 2004 will!

Sportsfanfare.com is mine, hands down. I have never had a new program take off as fast for me as this one. I know there is a great future in my partnership with sportsfanfare.com as it steadily increases my account balance. Any program that makes me feel that making a bunch more web pages to promote their stuff is a worthwhile investment of my web space deserves my vote! http://www.abestweb.com/smilies/thumbup2.gif
