I look out my window, and I still see snow. Our growing season is so short it really limits what we can have /infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif Doc Sawyer April 6th, 2002, 09:24 PM South Texas USA Bananas are tropical and the winter was quite cold this year. So I had to wrap the bananas with cotton and keep them warm through the cold snaps. I'm a proud papa to have them so full of life. Banana trees are mostly water and freeze easily. We had a several hard freezes this year... Don parentsworld April 6th, 2002, 09:44 PM Well you did a great job nursing it through. I have a Lavander that I've nursed through two Calgary Winters (-40 type weather) and am mighty proud of them -- they just don't grow here usually WorkerBee April 6th, 2002, 11:09 PM Beautiful plant Doc!
